Torino Nightclub - Massawa, Eritirea

Generally well regarded disco that opens at 10pm and rocks until dawn, under the stars, in the oldest part of Massawa. This club is relatively near the port and near the bridge with the road leading to the Red Sea Hotel (Massawa's best).

The disco is patronised by UN staff, Arab and local men, and plenty of Eritrean harlots. AT approximately 1am things get very busy as the guys realize why they are - the Arabs want their bishops - sorry Imams! - rubbed before they head back home to the 'dry' Middle East. UN staff, at least those not preferring under age companions, are busy scouting around for an intersting STD to give to their wives.

Actually this place is quite nice, albeit they play the 4-10 year disco and rap music a bit too loud for my taste. The girls range from 4-7 and are usually satisfied with 500 Nakfa (23 US$) for the night. The stars amongst the girls aim for double. BBBJ is out as as any type of BJ with most of the girls. Entrance to the disco is about 50 Nakfa depending on the whim of the staff downstairs. This establishment was visited in November 2002.
