Merlin, gotta admit that when I heard of the recent plane crash near Venezuela, I wondered where in the world you might be. Keep traveling, my man, and may all your 3rd world planes function properly!

Porker, thanks for thinking about me. I was actually in CTG, a lot of people were talking about that accident. Whats eerie is that I tried booking with that particular airline about a month ago as they have good connections to MDE from Panama. Small outfit with not too many planes and lots of history of problems in the past I now find out. It really kinda hits home b/c I flew to and from Panama-CTG on COPA just a few days before and after the accident, similar routing.
