This is a good youtube video that will introduce you to Mitt Romney. We can all agree on one thing and that is Obama has never held down a real job. Mitt Romnney helped found a company which went from 10 employees to hundreds. Who would you like to lead the economy...a man who has never had a real job or Mitt Romney who has worked in the private sector and lead a private company...

"We can all agree on one thing and that is Obama has never held down a real job."

Wrong again Portege. What we can all agree on is you are a moron and a troll.

Well,LAGUY you can forward your objections to the Mitt Romney campaign. According to Mitt Romney, Obama and "virtually everyone around him" has never held down a job in the real economy. I believe his statement is accurate. Obama's background is as a community organizer. Obama never worked at a real company in the real economy.

Ill be honest. This sucks. This sucks for us all with a few exceptions. American freedom starts when the economy is in good shape and unemployment is low. That is certainly not the case right now.

How could you explain this all to everyone at Allentown Metal Works?

Well first off, Obama is President of the United States. That is not a real job, or is your point that he never held a real job until he held a real job?

But as always with Portege, he just bases his parrot-like posts on what other right-wingers have fed him in the latest shit sandwich being passed around without bothering to confirm any of the usually made-up "facts."

Although I'm disinclined to get in a pointless argument about what constitutes a "real job," or in Portege's second "in retreat" post, a "real job in the real economy," after graduating from Columbia, Obama worked for more than a year as an analyst at the Business International Corporation.

But if one is serious about this "real job in the real economy" threshold for being President, one would have to acknowledge neither Ronald Reagan nor Bill Clinton were qualified. The two Bush Presidents might be, although does starting a business based on your parent's connections and wealth qualify? It doesn't seem very "real world" to me.

But if "real job in the real economy" is the test, we should bring back Jimmy Carter and make him the next President. He built a successful business from the ground up. He is the perfect Portege candidate to run our country's economy.

I guess according the flavor of the month from the Utah Cult division, having a rich dad bankroll you is a real job, but rising up from nothing to become President - like Clinton and Obama - is not as good.

Small correction: Actually Jimmy Carter inherited the peanut farm but introduced some innovations that made it much more successful.

PORTEGE has a real job! He works for the Koch Brothers by running around the adult blogs and leaving turds all over the place.

Romney destroyed companies, fired all the employees and sold of the peices. Ohh, and he was governor of Massachussets for a while.

Why are you touting Mitt anyway. The stupid republican primary voters are going to select Michelle Bachman. Obama should win all fifty states when that happens.

You guys need to get your head examined if you really think and believe that Obama is the most perfect President ever. Why not admit and openly discuss the OBVIOUS issues versus supporting him blindly no matter what might happen?

For the 20 million Americans out of work it cant get any worse. I can tell many of you probably dont have many friends or family to care about. You probably dont know any soldiers overseas or may have never been in the military yourself. The world doesnt revolve around you and your lonesome world. There are actually people out there being negatively effected by Obama.

The fact that the financial crisis was so big might be a good excuse for you, but its not in my book. There has been no obvious improvement and for folks like the ones at Allentown Metal Works its not going to get any worse. Its as bad as it gets for them. Maybe you need to meet with the former workers of that plant and their families to really develop an opinion. Blindly making a decision based on internet forums and discussion is not the way to come to an accurate and informed decision.

In order to create jobs it helps to have had a job in the private sector. Romney had a job for 25 years where he signed the front-side of a payroll check. What is Obama's experience? He never had a real job in the private sector...he never signed the front-side of a payroll check...

Oh yeah, Obama does have experience and that is as President. That is funny. So his first management job was as the President??? Thats ridiculous.

There is no shame for having lost a job in this economy...the Obama economy. If you know someone who has lost a job in this economy or you may have lost one yourself, then you should seriously consider Romney. Romney will fight for us...he will fight for your children and friends. Nevermind the golf course and Hawaii vacations, try fighting for the little man...

OBAMA IS NOT PERFECT, but he is a hell of a lot better than any of those worthless republicans trying to replace him.

I have sent numerous emails to the white house and I am sure his staff compiles some kind of scorecard. Hopefully, "FIND YOUR BALLS" is on that card. It is time for him to stop appeasing the right wing.

Tha AFFORDABLE CARE ACT, something IDIOTS refer to as obamacare, is a small step in the right direction although it falls far short of solving the real problem of wall street and insurance company skimming that adds at least 30% to costs.

Personally, I do not have any problem with GAY people, but I am bothered that so many LGBT shows are on LEFT radio and television. The gay friendly reputation of the Democratic Party drives a lot of religous nut jobs into hurting themselves by voting republican on the ridiculous belief that is the moral thing to do. Abortion is another factor feeding the moral stupidity.

Our economy was destroyed by republican policy and all of those folks out of work need to blame trade policies that sent their jobs overseas. NAFTA, despite original intent, made MEXICO into a final assembly and distribution channel for even more Asian products.

I really wonder if PORTEGE has ever been outside the USA to discover how other countries have prospered by sucking the life blood out of America while republicans keep trying to reduce our regulations, wages, benefits, unions, retirement, etcetera and watch our infrastructure crumble so they can give tax cuts to their wealthy masters.

The United States of Oligarchy will not be a nice place for most people to live and that is where we are headed unless the stupid voters begin to realize who is really manipulating the Tea Party.

PORTEGE: Have you ever been to Allentown? Did you loose your job sweeping the floors in their Metal Works plant?

The problem is not how well Romney does against Obama, but whether he can win the Republican nomination. I don't think he can, here's why.

1. Health care. Many Americans are opposed to Obamacare, but Romney signed a similar bill into law in Massachusetts. This robs the Republicans of one of the biggest points to battle Obama.

2. Mormon. Many Republicans are still struggling with the simple fact that a black man is the president. I believe it is a fear of the unknown. I know a lot of black people but I don't know any Mormons. They make really big, elaborate and expensive churches. The rest of my knowledge oomes from the HBO series Big Love. There is a certain creepy factor about Mormons and that will hurt Romney.

3. Big Business. If you look at Romney, he is a tool for Big Business. Big Business is doing just fine. Their profits are higher than ever as they export jobs oversees. In this critical regard, Romney is just more of the same.

4. Consultant. This is a gripe with me. I hate consultants. All they do is throw out their opinion, charge a ton of dough and leave. Romney's company Bain did this more than others. They act like they know it all but they don't know shit.

5. Fox News. Don't ask me why but Romney has not been on Fox News once. I believe that the Republican nomination goes Fox News and Roger Ailes. They were actually hiring virtually all of the Republican contenders including Palin, Huckabee, Gingrich and Santorum. There appears to be a friction between Fox and Romney and I do not believe he can without Fox.

BT,

The problem is many REPUBLICANS with money hate health care reform (there's no such thing as Obamacare; what emerged from Congress bore only a modest relationship to what Obama proposed).

But don't count Romney out. The crew of Republicans running thus far are an amazing group of losers.

Portege,

The economy sank under Bush, you witless moron. An economy is relatively easy to break and relatively hard to fix.

Portege as CH campaign director for Romney; now there's the kiss of death.
