Anybody picking TB is a slave to the the generic "home dog in a divisional game" and ignores the fact that Cam Newton vs. Freeman is a horrible mismatch. Carolina offense is much, much better, and a college coach is so very rarely the answer to a sorry team the year before, Harbaugh last year being a notable exception. Carolina should easily win by more than a FG.

Vikings -3 at home against a horrid Jacksonville team with a retarded new coach seems like easy money to me. Line bet up to 3 1/2, which makes it ballsier, but I see a Vikings romp.

Jackass Mularkey had MJD fielding punts after his holdout... Which he promptly muffed (out of bounds, though). BRILLIANT!

Week 1 the most picked team was the Saints (336) who fnished last regular season as the hottest team, and they lost.

Lions were the 2cd most picked team, Rams with only 46 contestants pickng them.

Week 2 the Ravens take home top honors with 227 contestants selecting them, Dallas 226 and 49ers with 215.
The least selected team was Packers with just 29, already a winner, Cardinals wth 38 and Bills with 44.

Still can't believe Redskins found a way to lose that game, could of easily went 3-2, hopefully the breaks will even out before all is done.

I haven't had a big run over a few weeks yet but I am ussually good for at least one good run on the season, hopefully that started last week and I can get right back in and challenge for the money.

2-1 on thanksgiving day. I should be able to get at least 1 more win for a winning record this week, with a good possibility to get 2 more wins and another big week.

My call way back on the september 11 post on Tampa becoming a surprise story this season is looking pretty good at this point.

Last season Tampa finished 4-12 and 4-12 against the spread.

Unless they crash and burn going forward they should easily have one of the largest turn-arounds in wins this season.

And they have a very impressive, league-leading 8-2 record against the spread.

We'll see if they can beat Atlanta this weekend, a huge win if they can pull it off for sure.

I would not count them out, but I was not picking them this week in the contest either.

I am in a second round survival pool, I just made it with the Broncos. The ones I still have left and am looking at are the Bills, Panthers, Jets and Ravens.

Looks like maybe a good oppurtunity to use either Bills or Panthers next week.

Bills at home to 2-9 Jags and Panthers at 1-10 Chiefs.

Wow, the Ravens have some tough games ahead, maybe against Pitt without Big Ben but I think that is next week when you have a good chance to use the 2 weaker teams.

I took the Bills. Like I say this one started on week 5, because so many people were elimanated so quick. In the first one I was with the bunch that got thrown out when the Patriots lost to the Cardinals. I'm trying to stick with teams still in the hunt, but hopefully, the Bills can take out the Jaguars.

Fooled, nice pick with the Jets... SOOOO close to covering! Yeah, they're roughly equivalent to the team that pounded them into oblivion!

I'm still in good shape, a couple of strong weeks and I could be in the money.

I should reiterate. The teams were ones I liked for that week, I still have a few others left. This started on week 5. I've already used Niners, Falcons, Patriots, Bears, Packers, Steelers, Texans, Broncos and Bills. The choices are diminishing, but around 100 started. Prior to this past week there were 32 left. 9 had Ravens (almost took them), 3 had Niners, 3 had Bears and 1 had Lions. We are now down to 16 players left.

For week 14, I am looking at Browns, Bucs, Colts and Seahawks. I actually like Seahawks the most, but like I say, in the first pool, the Cardinals burned me when I took the Patriots.

I took Miami Dolphins for a survival team this week. I was also looking a at Cincy. But its in and in just a few hours I will know if I should have taken Cincinatti.

Miami looks good this week they should be able to get it done.

My final pick came down to Cincy or Falcons, I was late going over everything and did so just before the Cincy game started so I was left with taking Falcons.

Last week the Colts trailed by 13 at halftime, a possible upset as I suspected but they came-back and pulled it out.

I hope the Colts make the playoffs because they will be a fade, they have been far-more lucky than good all season.

4-0 heading into tonight's big showdown, I'm confident the 9ers get it done.

That's 11 winning weeks of 15, good for 73.3% winning weeks. Not to shabby, have had a pretty good year and with a win tonight will be in very good shape to cash-in this season.

Monster week 5-0 and 44-31 for the season.

as a Raider fan, I am gonna go against the flow, I am gonna take Carolina, it was either them or Indianapolis, I am losing out of choices.

I don't think Carolina or Indy will cover the spread this week, which means the games will be close and upsets are possible, good luck with Panthers.

I am sitting in 48th place tied with 18 others of 745 contestants.

Which means I am beating 679 or 91.1% of the best sportsbettors, sports services and touts in the world.

This is the first year I really stunk in NFL. I normally only bet 2 or 3 games a week. All I see for tomorrow is Tampa Bay +3.5

I am down to a final game with 8 other players out of 97 in survival pool. I took the NY Giants. No spread, just have to win outright. One other player has the Giants. The rest have the afternoon games. Chargers, Seahawks and Niners.

4-1 in the final week, good for 48-37 for the season.

Good for a 56.5% with 12 winning weeks of 17.

Finished 4 games out of the money, I think 48 wins finished in the money last year.

I beat 634 of the 745 contestants or 85.1% of some of the best sports bettors and sports services in the world.

All in all pretty decent showing.

My only 0-5 of the season in week 16 obviously killed my chances, but would of needed a 4-1 weekend which would of been tough, but not impossible.

Did finish up strong going 13-2 in weeks 14,15,17, about as good as I could of expected to finish except for the week 16 beatdown.

Oh well........................

Nice season totals, and thanks for sharing here. 85th percentile is pretty damned good. Week 16/17 are always seemingly counter-intuitive.

BTW, I was right way back in week 1 about J'ville being the worst team in the NFL...
