That's one call that I bet he disagrees with. Murderers have gotten off with less. Naturally it was a female judge.
And now that there's been a criminal conviction, he can more easily be sued for damages --the award will depend on his wealth. (Picture currency notes growing wings and flying away, like in the cartoons.)
I do not condone what he did. But he'll be in his fifties when he gets out. Seems harsh vis-a-vis sentencing for violent crimes, especially considering that he's been humiliated to hell.

Don't know if he's guilty or not but:
In todays day and time, not a good idea to have any contact with teenagers not your own. Especially if you are a celebrity.
You need to protect yourself.

Problem is (according to the article) two of the accusers were 15 and age of consent in Michigan is 16. Also, even though he was just a volunteer in the high school where these incidents take place, a volunteer could be interpreted as an "authority figure" which implies 18 and up for absolute legal security. It does seem harsh, but he'll probably be out for good behavior long before the minimum 7 years. The guy does have issues however no doubt.

My take is the guy is a dumb fuck and deserves the sentence on grounds of stupidity alone. I have little sympathy for some guy who goes after adolescents.
