Hello,

Just want to send a shout out about my appreciation for this board and its founders and members.

I'm writing this after receiving news today that a former mongering amigo has been diagnosed with the big C and has been undergoing chemo. He's not the first here that this has happened to and he won't be the last, but just reminds me that we are all vulnerable to such tests of mortality.

This summer I also got to spend social/blissful time with some formerly very active board members that have had life-alteringly hard times.

I don't really have anything more to say without going into specifics, and the good news so far is that what hasn't killed them (yet) made them stronger.

But I just want to send a group hug out to you all and say that you mofo's (aka fine people) have meant a lot to me over the years.

In the true spirit of this board, I hope you all have mucho mas PSE/GFE and carpe diem. Some of our brethren in the sheets haven't been so lucky.

A toast to your sage words, and all our brothers we've met along the way Porker!
