This is way off topic, but if you haven't turned on your television yet you may want to check it out.

Almost 17 years to the date when Challenger exploded shortly after take-off. I find this incredibly suspect as the first Israeli astronaut was aboard.

Oh God... Let the conspiracy theories begin...
This is a national tragedy, however. God bless the families of the victims.

Unless someone planted something on board, which is next to impossible, there is no chance of terrorism. Broken up at 38 miles ALT and going about Mach 18 (11,880 MPH ground speed) you just need to be a little off on the angles to lose it.

Flying over the middle of the US, 40 miles up... there's no way that anyone shot that shuttle down. And a bomb on board? Naaaah. With all the security that was in place, if someone pulled that off, we REALLY ought to be scared of terrorists. Sabotage? Nope. Can't imagine how the craft could have flown for two weeks and then fallen apart right before landing if someone messed with its structure.
Personally, I'm tossing aside the conspiracy theories. It was nothing more than a tragic mechanical failure.

That one dates back to the Challenger disaster in 1986. I heard it worded like this... "What color were Christa McAuliffe's eyes?"

Maybe Exploder was a better nickname for him after all.

From the dust bin of history:
Christa McAuliffe was reportedly a wonderful teacher, other than for her bad habit of blowing up in front of her students.
What were Christa McAuliffe's last words to her husband? You feed the kids and the dog, and I'll go feed the fish.
