Roberto, did you ever find your roommates? And by the way, I would strongly suggest when you do, you have them sign a week to week lease agreement. I'm going to court Tue morning to get a nonpaying "friend" out of my house. Until you've been through it, you have no idea how tenant-slanted Arizona laws are. Wanna get rid of a tenant, so you cut off their utilities? Against the law - now they can sue you for two months' rent. Threaten them to make them move? Uh-oh, very bad move, now they can get an order of protection against you, and if you enter your own home they can call the cops, who will arrest you for violating the order of protection. There are lots of such little goodies a knowledgeable tenant can play against you. I suggest a good week to week lease agreement, which you can terminate on 10 days notice. If you don't have a written agreement, Arizona law says you have a verbal month to month by default, and you have to give them 30 days notice of termination. I've got a copy of the Arizona Landlord's deskbook if you'd like to borrow it to learn what you could be getting into.
