Now that ThanksGiving is behind us, I thought it might be appropriate that we begin the nomination process for this year's Monger of The Year Award. In past years the discussions leading up to the presentation of the much coveted MOTYA has been a source of inspiration and rediscovering the year's best info for many of us. Unlike some previous years, I personally feel that there is no clear leading candidate, but then again due to being time constrained, I have not had as active a presence in the threads.

The breadth of our coverage seems to have increased in parallel with the technology we have at hand to deliver it. Also, I for one, often find that the supplemental material is often more help than the fuck reports, as fun as the later can be.

Anyway my personal favorites by category for a full year of effort are the following:

From the perspective of a board member who is unfortuantely locked into the Mexico/TJ box of mongering experiences for the time being, I have to nominate Daytimer. He regularly posts consistently useful information covering a broad range of chicas and bars all over TJ...covering the zona, Revolucion and even SGs from time to time. And he posts without any agenda beyond giving us pure information. Plus, he's advancing the use of audio files which not only have enhanced the site, but demonstrates the kind of awesome communications and entertainment machine this site can become in the future.

It's been quite a while since I've been to TJ, and given much of the core community is centered around there, I hesitate to nominate an overall winner. However, I love these kinda threads - and of course, the hairspray is kicking in...

On an international scene, some very reliable and learned contributors by name of Gator and Moondog have really stood out.

Yes, Strikingviking has endeavored upon the wildest of trips, and I admire him..... But Dude needs to get some pussy.... Sheees, just breezed thru Nicaragua, Panama City and ElSavador as if it was an inconvenience.

I suppose TjHombre deserves some consideration, but, naaahhhh TightFit never fails To enlighten... Redongdo must be the most suave The chicas in NL really loved him.

I love YT, but gotta give my nod to Gitano - Dude does it all, and if not, WILL eventually. Great variety in experiences, and always willing to share info with, and help out a friend.

We should have some polls or something but I cast my vote to Daytimer for monger of the year all world. Great hombre who always posts interesting info, never gets into any flaming, treats chicas with lots of respect.
Honorable mention to gentleman Gitano, world hombre, he of the quickest moves. By the time I usually sit down to take on a scene, he usually has a chica/garota in tow.
