I bought L&H's Simply Translating Deluxe to see if it would actually work. It has done pretty darn good so far with letter's to/from Brasil and BA. It will do several languages actually.

This might be a way to communicate with the Garota in your room if you are like me with limited skills.

Pauliana has complimented me on how good it is as she can understand everything in the letter.

Picked it up on Ebay for $27.
