I saw this movie for the first time last night.
It was pretty trippy with all the cotemporary music in a movie set in 1900 Paris.
But there is one quote from the movie that stands out to me and is somewhat appropriate for this forum.
I don't want to spend too much time setting up the scene, but a narcoleptic Argentinean in the movie said the following to the movie's male lead, “Never fall in love with a woman who sells herself it always ends bad.”

That was one heck of a movie. In the special DVD issue, they give you a bit of the back story behind the making of the movie, and the making of the Moulin Rouge. You'll be surprised to learn how accurate the sets really were. The place was quite something a hundred years ago.
