What I learned today:

1. Is it near to here? - Fica perto daqui?
2. I think that it's this way - Eu acho que por aqui.
3. Which is the address? - Qual é o endereço?
4. He lives close to here, right? - Ele mora perto daqui não é? (I still love how ele mora comes back as "it deferred payment!")
5. quite close - bem perto
6. Well we are here - Bem nos estamos aqui.
7. Ok. I am going there now - Bem. Eu vou la agora.
8. I want to see the doctor - Eu quero ver o médico.
9. I am only a little sick - Eu só estou um pouco doente.
10. I want to go now - Eu quero ir agora.
11. I am also going to see the doctor - Eu também vou ver o médico.
12. That doctor is very good - Essa médico é muito bom.
13. Let's continue on that way - sigamos por la
14. We are going to go together - Nos vamos ir juntos.
15. Nevermind or it doesn't matter - não importa
16. I am going to see my father - Eu vou ver o meu pai.
17. Are you going to see your father now? - a senhora vai ver o seu pai agora?
18. I study English - Eu estudo inglês

23. In Portuguese - Em português
24. In order to learn - para aprender (I am not not hearing the (A) in aprender. It sounds like just prender.
25. I study in order to learn - Eu estudo para aprender.
26. You learn quickly - A senhora aprende depressa.
27. But I don't learn much - Mas eu não aprendo muito
28. And I want to study English - E eu quero estudar o inglês
29. Can we study together? - Nós podemos estudar juntos?
30. We can't see my friend now - Nós não podemos ver o meu amigo agora
31. We can go later - Nós podemos ir mais tarde
32. Now we can go to see your father - Agora nós podemos ver o seu pai.

Comment about "para aprender (I am not hearing the (A) in aprender. It sounds like just prender."

Actually, the "a" you are not hearing is the last "a" of para, not the "a" of aprender. In spoken Portuguese, when two vowels meet in this way, the second vowel takes over (in continuous speech). For instance, para observar (in order to observe) would sound like "parobservar".
