Kendricks posted during the Iraq War that he was becoming a Republican. I take him at his word and believe that he will support Schwarzenegger. He would be a great addition to his team I believe.

If elected, I promise to legalize ALL consensual adult sexual activity, legalize marijuana usage, remove the ridiculous requirement that bars close at 2:00 a.m., and raise the drunk driving threshhold to .20 (from its current ridiculous low of .08).

I would also impose income taxes on all revenues raised by churches and other religious organizations, forgive all consumer credit card debt, and permit everyone within our borders capable of passing the exam to get a drivers license.

I am also open to the addition of further planks to my platform, given suggestion with either reasoned argument or substantial campaign contributions.

I seriously agree with everything you are suggesting, except the consumer debt and drunk driving threshhold. I tsounds like the last two planks are just to garner votes.

Also appreciate the fact that you have immediately grasp the "open to other ideas through reasoned arguement or campaign contribution" as of course that is the basic foundation of good government.

OK, OK, the credit card debt thing might have some unintended consequences. I guess I could drop this plank. As far as the DUI limit goes, how about we compromise, and raise it to .12?

I do appreciate your response, but it was a little heavy on reasoned argument, and a little light on campaign contributions. I am certain this was just an innocent oversight on your part, and that further suggestions will balance this out.

This state needs a benevolent dictator. Candidate Kendricks, when you're elected for life please rescind the referendum laws. The idea that the people of this state are intelligent enough to vote on every piece of significant legislation is absurd.

You should also appoint the US Senators to represent us in DC and redistrict to two districts, North and South. Also appoint the representatives.

You will need a Supreme Council composed of middle aged bachelors and prostitutes to mandate social programs.

The pillar of your health care program shall be the elimination pure drinking water and its stead the taps of California shall distribute a cocktail of viagra, anti-hyperglycemics, anti-hypertensives, prozac, and alcohol. This will save the citizenship of CA untold millions of dollars which you can then collect in taxes.

Immigration of men from other countries AND other states shall be tightly controlled and only those with predispostion to hedonism shall be allowed entry. Immigration of woman will be entirely based upon physical attributes and IQ, with a low maximum.

I think you should run on the "Inconsistent Party," then again that probably goes for most of them.

I'm a little confused, Amous. What have I said in the past which is inconsistent with anything I posted in this thread?

I was referring to your philosophy (spirit, should I say) in general, which seems logically out of synch at times, then at other times seems to be right on.
Out of fairness, I'll try to post about some specifics, but at a later time when research time allows.

Amous, I don't follow any party line. I think independently. The fact that you might agree with me on some issues, and disagree with me on others, does not make me "inconsistent" in any way.

I don't mean to dodge you, but I do want to follow this when I have the time to discuss it comprehensively. As it is, I have a hard time expressing my thoughts and I don't want to fall into the trap of discussing it hastily.
Maybe I shouldn't have made the statement while not being readily available to elaborate on it thoroughly.
