The Holy Land
This 96 minute movie got 2 stars out 4, by the San Diego Union-Tribune in last Thursday's Night and Day section.
It's about a rabbinical student who takes the advice, "Get some experience in the big city - Jerusalem." He falls for a Ukranian lady of the evening (and morning and day).
At the Ken until 8.21.03.

Ken: 619-819-0236. On the south side of Adams Ave, just east of I-15.
Showing 5:00pm, 7:15, and 9:30pm.
This MAY be switched to another Landmark theatre in SD, &/or to another city in the U.S.
If you are anywhere near as tired as I am of the same-ol' same-ol Hollywood dreck, access Landmark's web site regularly, or via the paper. Also, in San Diego, Madstone Theater, in Mission Valley, among a few such places.

Hey thanks RJ, I wil try to catch that one. Yes, I used to have the Landmark frequent flyer pass, back when the Ken changed movies almost every night. I guess video made that practice obselete, but it was very interesting and educational.
