I'm a fan of movies about Africa, such as Born Free and Out of Africa. And, while this movie was a bit slow at times, I greatly enjoyed it.

It follows the story of German Jews who go to Kenya to escape Hitler. They have a tough time adjusting to it, but manage to do so.

The scenery is nice. There is a bit of nudity.

In San Diego, it is currently showing at Hazard Center 7, 619-299-4500, 7510 Hazard Center Dr. I believe this is actually now the Madstone Theater.

It has been showing at various places around the area for about 4 months.
