Working on the type of budget that TV Azteca would use to produce 3 or 4 'Enamorate's', Carla Estrada has produced the most lavish Mexican telenovela to date...
I would love to dismiss this one, frankly, as its story does not rate with last years 'El Manantial', but the performances by a power-packed Elenco (Ernesto Laguardia, Mauricio Islas, Adela Noriega, Chantal Andere, et al)-- and especially the brooding intensity displayed by protagonisto Fernando Coalunga, make this
novela all but impossible to ignore...

My two favorite Mexican shows are Los Metiches and Zero en Conducta. Both on Channel 17 Cox in San Diego. Sundays at 7 then at 8 p.m. Pure slap stick comedy.

Clase 406 is all over the place thematically but I am very attracted to Sara Maldonado and Sherilyn...Both are very young and very hot...
Sara Maldonado is probably looking at her first protaganista role within the year...
I thought tuff guys didn't follow the novelas...

Nayarit:
Hay otras in this particular vein of comedy-- perhaps not all available in the states...'La Juala' and 'La Familia Peluche' come immediately to mind...
Muy corriente, incredibly stupid, only occasionally mildly humorous...But they typically prance some hot Mexicanas across the screen....

Every chica in the Zona that I talked to last night could not stop raving about Amor Real...Tonight is the finale...
Last night's capitulo was as intense and dramatic as they come in the Mexican genre, with Mauricio Islas allowing Fernando Coalunga to escape from the clutches of the government, tho he finally held the fate of his "archenemy" in his hands...
Apparently Mauricio Islas will be delivered over on charges of Treason for his act-- and set before a firing squad, but look for Fernando Coalunga to return the favor by riding back with his ejercito of ragtag rebels and saving Mauricio against impossible odds...
Look for the girls to try and get themselves in front of a television set tonight at some point in the 6-9pm time frame...
