The lessons seem to be getting easier or maybe we are getting a break with most of the time spend reviewing various combinations of words and sentences already learned. That works for me. I don't know what an actual working vocabulary is size wise. Until I can learn to always recognize the "off beat" pronounciation of words that contain "ti, te, de, di" and several others it is still a surprise sometimes when I get the printed version. It seems that unless the word actually ends with "de" or "te" the pronounciation is with a semi hard first letter. At least, I am noticing that although it will probably turn out that words like "telefone" and "desculpar" are exceptions.
What is a real hassle is the writing part. These darm translator sites do a better job than nothing but I still find almost 50% of what they come up with being different than the dialogue. The accents are the biggest pain since without a correct translation I have to use their little mini windows within the site, copy the letter, and then paste it to my version. I begin to appreciate the time that Xenono took to write his accompaning posts.
