1. Would you like to go to the movies with me on Saturday? - Você gostaria de ir comigo ao cinema no Sábado?
2. Until what time are the stores open? What time do they open? - Até que horas estão abertas as lojas. A que horas abrem? (to open/close - abrir/fechar) (to start or begin - começar) (to end or finish - acabar/terminar) (the start and the end - o começa e o fim) (first and last - primeiro e último)
3. Do you work Saturday evening? - Você trabahla no Sábado à noite?
4. I think the film starts early. Maybe at 7 or 7:30. - Eu acho que o filme começa cedo. Talvez as sete o sete e meia.
5. And it ends at what time? - E acaba a que horas?
6. That is too late. - Isso é tarde demais.
7. I need to buy a beautiful hat before Monday. - Eu preciso comprar um chapéu bonito antes da segunda-feira. (The weekdays refer to markets or fair days.)
8. She is leaving on Monday morning with her father. - Ela vai embora na segunda-feira de manhã com o pai dela.
9. I don’t want to send the hat. - Eu não quero mandar o chapéu.
10. She told me that it is important. She wants to take a hat. - Ela me disse que é importante. Ela quer levar um chapéu.
11. Hopefully so. - Tomara que sim.
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. - Segunda-feria, terça, quarta, quita, sexta, sábado, domingo. (The names may or may not be capitalized and the feria part can be left off if desired.)

Thanks for the corrections to this and the others. I always go back to my files and fix the errors. When it is not a lazy mistake or simple misspelling I ring up the actual sound track and listen to the specific part again. Unlike the early lessons they are rarely repeating sentences anymore and I am noticing more of a slurring, or blurring, or words, especially with the female speaker. I have another langauge site I check out for their daily word and sentence section so I can hear one more speaker. She is even harder to understand. I guess that's good because when I hit the real stuff in Rio again I expect most everything to just be one long sliding sound.
