There is no better place to meet filipinas than "The Trophy Lounge". It is a place where ex-bar girls meet to party and have fun. There are some girls who came to the U.S. to get a green card and have since divorced their military spouse. Other girls are cheating on their husbands while they are away at sea. Be careful.

Thursday and Sunday's have drink specials and their are usually plenty of horny, sauced of Filipinas. I presume that many of these girls used to work in AC because they met their military husband in the PI, 90% of the time as bar girls. It is located in National City.

You're both way off on the percentage of Trophy Lounge girls being ex-bargirls. The figure is much lower. I've chatted with several of the girls there, as well as, the beautiful "married" bartenders. Many, many of these girls are married to military men but most met through personal friends or mail order. Next time you're surfing the net do a search on Cebu. Some of the first items you'll hit are mail-order brides. The percentage of military men that met their wives from a PI bar, within the last 10 years, is a very small number. The last 2 girls that i have dated in San Diego have been Cambodian.
A lot of my nieghbors are filipinas.
So i see and pretty much know how they act.
In a way they are like Latinas in they want tough guys to dominate them.
They are very high maintence compared to Latinas.
Just on my first date with cambodian Pie # 1 she was complimenting my truck and telling me how i can go even further to cusomize it so I can impress more asian chicas , it was pretty funny.

Now I have been to the Trophy lounge and most of the male clientel look like they are either drug users , sellers or have just got out of prison. The women here are very very hot and most of the latinas that come here can hardly fit through the door. Most guys are dressed with urban gear which i do have but i prefer to dress very sharp at night so I look much different than the guys that come here , I also look like i never did time.
Most are friendly here and i had a few good conversations just out of the fact that they knew I wasnt from California ( accent).

The few times i have been here I have seen small scuffles break out. One friend of mine here was also approached by a street worker
(white trash) and asked if he wanted a good time.

gentlemen, when we talk about large filipino populations outside of PI, my understanding is the largest is Daly City, just south of San Francisco. I've heard it has the second largest filipino population in the world (behind Manila).

This Trohpy Lounge sounds quite entertaining. I need to make a point of visiting on my next adventure in SD/TJ.

Daly City is the largest Filipino population in the world outside the islands. The media in the San Diego area has gotten this wrong to many times in the past and have given you the wrong information.

Progman- it was a joke - although I still say any girl who'll go inside the Trophy Lounge is "hip to the game." When I was in the USMC many moons ago I hung out with all the Filipino sailors who were TL regulars- and they basically told me no "good" girl would ever go to such a bar. From my experience with "Pinay" chicks, they're either nuns or whores- no in-between. I prefer the latter type myself.

I hardly see any filipino guys there

the mix is 75 percent black / 10 percent latino /10 percent white and maybe 5 percent asian.

The census has been way off on calculating the amount of Filinpinos whom live in San Diego. The military and concentration of hospitals accounts for this. Go to any mall in San Diego and tell me I'm wrong. Daly City has a higher concentration but not a higher total.

I lived in Daly City for awhile....you can always tell where there is a large concentration of Filipinos...look for the Trans Ams!

Of course in the Daly City/Pacifica fog you're lucky if you can see your hand in front of your face.

Didn't catch the humor - maybe I was too tired. You are right on the money about the two types of girls that party there. Whores or nuns! I don't know if I agree with Milkman's observation on the kind of guys that go there. I've seen mostly military, many of them black. The girls here can get picky. They tend to look for the young 18 - 25 year old sailors (or sailor types). I'm 39 so I have to work a lot harder than most to score. Still - it's worth a drop-in.

I live not to far from here and know people that come here all the time.
Nightly you can see cops here busting up fights and people trying to steal cars.

Next time you head down we will hit this place if you want. Despite the bad elements it is a very hot place.

They may go for the younger sailors because the young ones may respond easier to the "Buy me drinkie?" requests. The older guys might not look so stupid. Yeah! I have a lot of Filipino friends who live in the Daly City area and all up and down the Bay Area. This area was and still is a major area for Filipinos to move to because of the large concentration of fellow Filipinos. San Diego has only recently become a hang out for Filipinos due to the number of military personnel bring wifes home to the US. If you want to take a look at the numbers, you can see by the number of Filipino owned business up and down the Bay Area, but concentrated in the Daly City area. The first Jollie Bee Filipino fast food outlet was opened in Daly City and so far there are about four or five of them in the whole Bay Area. I believe that the Orange County area was next and have two or three Jollie Bee's then Honolulu and only recently one opened up in the San Diego area (National City I believe). Numbers don't lie as Jollie Bee open their fast food outlet where the biggest Filipino population resides.
