San Diego has a fairly large Lao community. There is a Wat Lao in San Diego off of Market Street and 45th. Some of the most incredible looking Lao girls go to this temple. Wat Lao has a large Songkran festival with a beauty pageant as well. Many of the girls whom look Thai here are actually Laotian but Lao language is nearly identical to Thai. Once you have learned Thai, Lao is easy.
