There are several excellent bakeries that sell many kinds of Thai sweets. In addition, there are a plethora of restuarants and cafe's that make excellent traditional Thai and Lao food.
Look for Siam Bookstore which sells Thai Penthouse and current versions of Bangkok Post. You can also buy or rent Thai videos and Thai CD's. Thai Town is located on Hollywood BLVD. off of the 101 in L.A.
