Yeah, a lot of lawmakers, Democrats and Republicans are pissed off about it.
Some lawmakers said they were given a redacted analysis of the bill WITHOUT the changes, meaning that the bill may be unconstitutional.
That shouldn't worry the Bush administration though.
When you have an administration that has restricted and remove more civil liberties than any other administration sice the civil war, you can expect this and further "stealth" legislation, until Darth Ashcroft gets his Police State.
