I wonder Xenono, "how about Clintons and thier vacations".
many abuses from both parties !!

Knee-jerk stupidity from THM...what a surprise!!! Some one points out a flaw with Bush, and the best THM can do is talk about Clinton. Please stop wasting internet bandwidth and return to your viewing of Fox News.
Tell us, THM. Why did you put "how about Clintons and thier vacations" in quotations? In which variation of the English language would this make sense? (And I'll write off your "thier" as a typo).

THM
If you bothered to click on that link it would have answered that question for you.
Recent Democrats
Bill Clinton: During first 7 years in office, spent 152 days on holiday.
Jimmy Carter: "took the least days off -- only 79 days, which he usually spent at his home in Georgia. That's less than three weeks a year, which is closer to the average American's paid time off of 13 days per year."
Recent Republicans
George Bush Sr: "took all or part of 543 vacation days at Camp David and in Kennebunkport" To put this number in perspective he was president for FOUR years. So, out of 1461 days in office over a third of it was spent on holiday.
George "Dubya" Bush: "spent all or part of 166 days during his presidency at his Crawford, Texas, ranch or en route. Add the time spent at or en route to the presidential retreat of Camp David and at the Bush family estate in Kennebunkport, Maine, and Bush has taken 250 days off as of August 2003." This means in less then his first thousand days in office more then 25% were spent on holiday. Quite the workaholic for the Bush family.
Ronald Reagan: (the republican wet dream) "spent 335 days at or en route to his Santa Barbara, California, ranch during his eight years in office."
This article is from 2003. Perhaps Xen could repost the NEW statistics for our beloved president.
I wanna be a republican president. Getting paid your salary PLUS all the "I'm a whore" kickbacks to spend a quarter to a third of your administration on vacation. Gotta be good living...

Don't bash THM, he's sitting at home with no money because he had to pay to cure his drippy dick from his last monger run. Now he has no money to do anything but cruise the internet and post even more stupid shit than he used to.
By Laguy on Friday, April 27, 2007 - 09:39 pm: Edit |
Since when does a drippy dick and paying over $500 to cure it offer protection against bashing?

From 2005, he is poised to set a record:
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/08/02/AR2005080201703.html
Here is a new article that says he is up to 409 days on the ranch.
Bush has spent part or all of 409 days of his presidency on the 1,600-acre ranch, according to CBS White House correspondent Mark Knoller, who keeps meticulous records of Bush's travel.

The further that Dubya stays away from the White House and Government, the better the world will be. Bush has destroyed the republican party and we should at least be thankful for that.

Just because he's at the ranch, who says it's vacation? I work in my underwear quite often...

Just because he's at the White House, who says it's work? I fuck around in the office quite often...
By Don Marco on Monday, April 30, 2007 - 01:19 pm: Edit |
yes, the corollary is true as well.
By Branquinho on Monday, April 30, 2007 - 03:08 pm: Edit |
It's Bush's job performance that suggests that he's (1) fucking around at the ranch and (2) fucking around at the office.
By Don Marco on Monday, April 30, 2007 - 03:51 pm: Edit |
Personally, I think we would be much better off if he WAS on vacation.
By Branquinho on Monday, April 30, 2007 - 04:46 pm: Edit |
My instinct is to agree with you, and then one word springs to mind: "CHENEY."
By Khun_mor on Monday, April 30, 2007 - 07:44 pm: Edit |
After hearing George Tenet the last few days it's pretty clear that Cheney is already running the show.
Dubya is just a good ole boy - stoopid window dressing.
I can see why THM likes him though.Makes him feel a whole lot smarter. Run Forrest !

Stop picking on Forrest!

Colin Powell, in his memoir, refers to W as "Sonny."
By Bullitt on Saturday, May 05, 2007 - 01:10 am: Edit |
Bush is more like "Fredo".
By Bendejo on Saturday, May 05, 2007 - 08:35 pm: Edit |
Er, I don't think it was a Godfather reference. More like "Sonny Jim."
