I hear Thailand's cheap in this regard, but can't believe Mexico's any slouch. The pulga (flea market) in Centro de Monterrey (Calle Reforma between Juarez Y Pino Suarez, mas o menos) has DVD's, CD's or video cassettes at 20-30 pesos or 3 for 50 (5 bucks). I think this is an excellent deal. They have popular English titles, plus subtitled in Spanish as well. Also, playstation games for this price. I know where I'll be shopping for the sobrinos' xmas presents next year!
I'm sure TJ's giant pulga in the La Mesa area is similar, though I never saw such goods in the Zona pulga (F. Martinez, past Manhattan, on Saturdays).
Comments?
BTW, Fallen told me that the Pulga in Mexico City is like TWO HUNDRED BLOCKS! Dos CIENTOS CUADRAS??? WOW!!! Beat THAT, Rio!!!
