Vote in the primaries to influence who makes it to the finals.
If everyone who didn't vote, voted for Kendricks, he would win by a landslide.

Even if you don't find one candidate that is perfect to your liking, hold your nose and vote for the one "closest" to your liking or you find "least" objectionable (a.k.a the lesser of two evils)
If enough people do so, eventually the selection of candidate will improve.
Not doing so means you will have your choice made for you by a few fanatics.
