1. Go the bank and withdraw copious amounts of cash.
2. Go directly to the restrooms located in the bank lobby
3. Lift the lid of the closest commode
4. Insert cash (and all jewlery, including your wedding ring)
5. Depress lever on both the tank, and your soul.

Or be wise like SweetMesquite and avoid all marital 'opportunities' while steadfastly enjoying the hell outta your life.

You decide.

Don't forget that you have to continue the same process repertedly as you have to pay out on money you do not even have yet! i.e. The actuarial estimate of what the worth of your retirement and 401K accounts will be 30 years from now. That's what I call justice .

Man this is depressing! Why would any of us want to get married? I thank God that I have not been an un-lucky victim of marriage.

Curse all these women!

Dongringo,

Aren't western women just womderful? And their lawyers, aren't they even better? Just gems of nature, I tell ya. They indeed are leeches. Give me a good job (with which to pay child support) and time off for regular siestas in places away from the western feminist bitches.

Hey Don, want to meet me in the LOS to abuse the holes on some petite spinners?

I don't think you could pry him out of Rio.

By Dongringo on Sunday, December 19, 2004 - 05:59 pm:  Edit

I will be taking my virgin trip to LOS sometime very soon, and taking in Cambodia during that same trip. I'd love to hook up with some of the Thailand regulars while I'm there. From all accounts, Cambodia is the new Cuba in that the country girl aspect is readily available. I miss that.

I have begun to tap some of the countryside of Brazil. Last week I had a 22 year old highschool teacher from Minas take an overnight bus to Rio to meet me. We spent the day together and this girl had never been with a foreigner. Further - I had to explain what a 69 was to her. Call me eclectic, but I liked that ;)

Never thought I'd hear that DG. If you're going to LOS then that puts even more pressure on me to finally go to Rio. If you happen to be there in February it would be a pleasure to hook up. Cambo not my thing, however I do recognize it's attraction.

You advertising your charms on Brazilian TV ? How are the local country girls finding out about the prowess of DG ??

Whoretester, believe it or not, I will agree with you about family lawyers being the worst of the lot but it's the state congressional and assemblyman (whom have enacted these insane community property laws) that are the real enemies. You cant twist the state laws too much, especially when it deals with property and child support. Spousal support laws are insance.......and this is coming from a California family lawyer...I've seen it all.

But I will take exception to being the only leeches in California. Their are ones much worse with much less education. Real Estate agents and Investment Brokers PRODUCE ABSOLUTELY NOTHING in the economy...they just take and have little to no education, they fullfill no void. There are many others but those are the first that come to mind.....how a housewife with a high school education makes 3% or more from the sale and purchase of a house is absurd.

By Beachman on Monday, December 20, 2004 - 09:37 am:  Edit

Blazers-

Real Estate brokers and agents do provide a service.....and if it is so easy and take no experience....why do people not sell and buy houses without Real Estate agents. There are no laws saying you have to use a real estate agent.

But the laws are so complicated and fucked up that you have to use a lawyer with legal matters. Even a simple traffic ticket and you cannot directly neogotiate a plea with before trial without having an lawyer.

If being a Real Estate Agent is so easy and we make so much money why don't you become one and stop your whining!

People use Real Estate agents because they are lazy and want the convience of having someone else do the work for them......that is what America is about.... providing a service or a product that someone wants to pay for without being forced.

What exactly do lawyers produce that is positive for the economy.....NOTHING! In fact....they drain the economy with frivolous and self serving lawsuits to line their pockets with money!

By Blazers on Monday, December 20, 2004 - 10:31 am:  Edit

Real estate agents are worthless.....they can make up to $18,000 selling a house or more here in San Diego and they have little to no education. I wont use real estate agents....dont need em in this housing market. You do need a lawyer to interpret the law for you and lawyers pay for serious education...they deserve to get paid after getting a Jurisdoctor and passing the bar. Any monkey can be a real estate agent....they are only necessary in the sense that they rig the game by getting your house on lists that only they have access to.

BTW, many people hire lawyers to do the paperwork because they are also too lazy to do it themselves...some simple shit sometimes. It takes years of education to become a lawyer...true, many of them live on frivolous lawsuits and that cripples the economy...but they are the minority. Real estate agents are necessary to a certain extent but some make money on both ends of the purchase and sale for %3 each way or more.....percentage should be fixed at .5% or less...dunno who decided the standard commission but its preposterous.

By Beachman on Monday, December 20, 2004 - 12:23 pm:  Edit

Blazers-

Those years of education you have should have taught you there is no standard commission....and that it is against the LAW for there to be a standard commission. It is a free market and it the principle of supply and demand applies.....you chose not to use a real estate agents ...that is your choice...

You say little or no education......formal education doesn't always mean you are more qualified of a professional than someone who doesn't have a formal education.

In the process of starting proceedings with my wife. Luckily we do not have kids and we have agreed to what is hers and mine. So far she has agreed to not use an attorney and use the state uncontested divorce process if we do go through with it. Right now we are both in a self-imposed cooling of stage with a targeted February timeframe for the final decision. We will see what happens and if all this stays nice.

The only tactic that I have used so far is to use truth very sparingly and keep an overall good relationship. Since I am the one initiating the divorce, I am in control (So far). Also reasoned with her that an ugly fight with attorney's will have both of us lose, with the money going to the attorney's instead of us.

Well, I'll let you know by mid-year if this tactic works and I can keep her on my good side. There is some truth out there that could sink me along the way and probably result in my dick getting cut-off and undesired financial losses.... we'll see.

If you are a member of this board it goes without saying that there are skeletons in your closet that a divorce lawyer could turn into a goldmine for your ex. By all means keep her working with her and continue on the enlightened path you are following now.

Once the sharks get in the water( no offense meant to our friend Blazers ) it's a whole new ball game and your balls are the ones in play .

When Irish eyes are smiling,
Sure, 'tis like the morn in Spring.
In the lilt of Irish laughter
You can hear the angels sing.
When Irish hearts are happy,
All the world seems bright and gay.

Stop right there. This tune has taken a wrong turn.
