After a few visits to South East Asia, squatting over a hole in the ground doesn't strike you as the least bit odd (stay tuned for future photos). What is odd is the fact that right next door to SEA, you'll find toilets so technologicaly advanced, it's almost frightening. The first time I sat on a Japanese toilet, I was impressed; it was heated and provided an interesting jet of water upon conclusion of my business. I figured this was state of the art.
I was wrong.
