...unfortunately, I cannot find more of them anywhere (to give away as gifts). Amazon has discontinued it.
My pocket translators are for Spanish, which has formidable verb inflections.
My Franklin translator just gives the infinitive form of the verb, which is absolutely worthless, un-usable information. For example, if you put in the English verb "go" it spits out "ir." But you can't say "Yo ir" --doesn't make sense. The Seiko Berlitz inflects the verbs for each person and several tenses! Awesome! For example, "You went," "I will go," "We are going," "I would go," etc. Awesome, awesome.
You might find one on e-bay.

That's pretty weird. I've got a Franklin Spanish/English dictionary and it has a button, "CONJ" that vomits out more freaking conjugations than I can shake a stick at.
What model Franklin are you using?

I can't find my Franklin now (I might have given it away when I found the Seiko Berlitz), but it must have been older than the one you have. It's good to know one can still buy one that conjugates verbs. That's critical in Spanish.

Don't confuse electronic translators with electronic dictionaries!!!
Translators are very basic tools and half the price of a dictionary.

I was thinking about getting this for my upcoming trip.
It does English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, and Portuguese and is backlit, which is important for in the termas and clubs.

Has anyone bought an ENTACO speaking translator? Their English-Portuguese one is $199 with over 450k translations. It looks nice.
