Gentlemen,

There has been a problem on one of the boards I am a member of. It seems some low-life has been showing girls pictures of them that have been posted on this board. There have been prior abuses elsewhere as well with the copying and stealing of photos. Please consider what you are doing, because if it persists then eventually these actions will drive away other posters. I like to know what's going on around the world and often pictures of a pretty girl are a part of this.

I respect a posters rights with these pictures and there are some rules that should be followed no matter what board you are on:

1. Do not download them
2. Do not share them with other mongers
3. Do not show them to girls
4. Do no repost on other sites.
5. Do not post photos on your own site and claim them as your own.

It's up to the owner of the photos to decide where they go. The only exception to this rule is as I have said before, if the picture poster grants permission and then you must give them credit.

Please feel free to copy this to other boards and also send me any suggestions on anything else I might have missed. I would appreciate your not adding to this, instead send me updates but this is your choice.

Regretably you're missing one important point here. If a girl doesn't give you permission to post her picture on the internet, ultimately it is YOU who posts the photo and takes the risk.

There are plenty of girls who will agree to let you post their pics, if you know how to ask, and what type of photos they're comfortable with you posting.

If you post a girls' photo without her verbal or written consent, you run the risk that she might find out about it and get pissed at you. So make your choice and live with the possible consequences.

Life is better when you can lay your head on the pillow at night with a clear consience.

That's a good point and I will add it to my list, it's something I should have added as I have been asked by many girls not to put their picture on the internet and each time I have complied with that request.

The last time I was in Rio I took a bunch of photos and did not post any of them as every girl asked me not to. I'd like to post them but when the girl explicitly asks you not to then I will not do so.

Do not post pictures of other mongers - they may need / want to stay anonymous.
