Just out of curiosity, I was viewing Epi's profile. I was stunned to see he is a 6 time award winner. And has achieved the highest rank in all catagories! WOW! Now I am really sad I missed you in BKK by 1 day, EPI. I really hope we are able to hook up some time! Your name sounded familiar...somewhere in the back of my memory banks...Well, finally I looked it up...
Epimetheus.
Ep·i·me·the·us ( P ) Pronunciation Key (p-mth-s, -thys)
n.
Greek Mythology. A Titan, husband of Pandora, who together with his brother Prometheus took part in the creation of the human race.
Astronomy. The satellite of Saturn that is sometimes the fifth and sometimes the sixth in distance from the planet. Periodically, Epimetheus and another of Saturn's moons, Janus, exchange orbits.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[Latin Epimtheus, from Greek, from epimtheus, afterthought (from the myth that after bestowing on each animal a special quality he had none left to bestow on humans), modeled on Promtheus, Prometheus (interpreted by the Greeks as from promtheus, forethought).]
Great handle! Much more meaning than mine...bastard

Hey Val
It really IS a shame we did not get a chance to hook up in BKK. It was funny hanging out with Bahtman and DTR - both talked you up religiously.
As for my handle - Epimetheus was the husband of Pandora. This is what pantheon.org has to say about Pandora: "In Greek mythology, Pandora was the first woman on earth. Zeus ordered Hephaestus, the god of craftsmanship, to create her and he did, using water and earth. The gods endowed her with many talents; Aphrodite gave her beauty, Apollo music, Hermes persuasion, and so forth. Hence her name: Pandora, 'all-gifted'."
I figured Pandora was the ultimate troublemaking female and I'd probably end up marrying the modern variant. So far, my Thai GF has lived up to this profile...
My original handle on redsnake.com was Dr. Evil. Somehow, both are appropriate.
Here's hoping we can hook up soon.

"Epi" also refers to the EPIcenter of the mongering world :-) A gentleman and a monger.
Does that pseudo-obituary deserve a free drink Epi?

We will meet up sooner or later. I still have not seen the vast majority of SEA. I will sync with your location at some point and we will have a throw down with the sweeter sex!

Dr Evil? perhaps "mini me" is more appropriate?

"Dr Evil? perhaps "mini me" is more appropriate?"
DM - only for one, very special part...
Considered calling my cock "Scott Evil", but I thought that might generate some confusion amongst the rank and file. For obvious reasons, I declined against using Frau, Basil, Number Two, Alotta Fagina, Shagwell and other less well known minions.
I've decided on Lil' Elvis (aka Lil' Epi for posting purposes) and "The Hook" for the time being and that's working out alright. Since you've expressed interest I'll keep you current on any changes in name for my "womb broom".
Now, after seeing how funny the girls are walking after you've fucked them perhaps your dick should be named Louisville Slugger. This would help explain your mental masturbation over on the "Fantasy Baseball" thread.
Methinks the name "GHOSTCOCK" will stick for Porker's moisture seeking missle...

Val, I've been curious about your handle's derivation....
By Valterreekian on Wednesday, June 08, 2005 - 07:27 am: Edit |
Nothing so grand as Epi's or so obvious as Porker.
I used to have the handle "Emreal" which is the name of a favorite fictional character on about 6 domains.
When I moved to Texas, and signed onto a few new domains, I found that the name was already taken, and I would have to settle for Emreal12458478419943824 or some crap like that, so I made a name up from my gaming days that I was confident no one else would ever pick.
It is a derivitive of the name Valter. Victor Grigorevich Valter, born 1865 Taganrog Russia. A musician, Jewish Russian.
I am not Jewish, but enjoyed a brief biography of Victor some years ago.
Nothing deep, just unique!

Unique indeed. Valter must have been a hell of a monger--perhaps "reekin" of pussy?
