A good site is www.thehun.com Everyday he posts links to sites where they have pages set up to view for free. He bans a site if they do popups or trick you with spyware so it is pretty safe.

Newsgroups are the best. You can use it for porn, music, movies, television shows, etc. I use it to download the Howard Stern show everyday just a few hours after the show ends. Newsgroups are not free though.

Seque99, Newsgroups are not user friendly. Translation, I am borderline retarded and required a fellow board member to teach me in person how to do it. Once you get set up, it is simple. I will try to explain here.

Some internet service providers provide you with newsgroup access as a part of your monthly service.

Howard Stern I will get to in a minute, but if you want to search newsgroups to find something, I use this site to direct me to the proper group: www.newzbin.com

Okay here is how I do it:
1. I have an account with giganews (www.giganews.com). I have the $7 a month account which is sufficient for my usage. Giganews provides you access to newsgroups. Think of them as your 'internet service provider for newsgroups'.
2. Download Xnews from the link on slyck's guide. Think of Xnews as your special Newsgroup browser. (Sort of like Internet Explorer for newsgroups).
3. Access the particular newsgroup you want. Howard Stern daily posts are found on 'alt.binaries.howard-stern'
4. Once you set up your account with Giganews and set your login info in Xnews all you have to do is double click on xnews everyday, download the newsgroup threads you want and select what you want to download.
5. If you want Howard Stern's daily show, a user named "Paxton Fudge" takes the time to record the show everyday, edit out the commercials and upload.

6. THis does not apply to audio like Howard or Music; if you are interested in downloading video(Sopranos, Survivor, Porn video, etc) you will need something called Quickpar to repair damaged files. FOr some reason video files are often damaged when being uploaded. People will upload the video, as well as what they call par files used to repair. SO with Quickpar (available at http://www.quickpar.org.uk) you can repair the video.
