Pretty much sums up exactly how I feel about religion...

Here is another one that is good. Completely agree about the ten commandments as a way to control people. Indeed, I think religion in general is way to control people.

I saw that on HBO recently. I love when he starts talking about the "invisible man".

It's amazing how people will fight for something that they want to believe, irregardless of how unlikely or improbable. We are stuck with "God".
To me, "God" is just dog spelled backwards, and I just don't see an invisible man.

I no longer believe at all but to be on the safe side, I will ask for last rites on my deathbed. You know, just in case, and according to dogma it's all you really need. Be baptized at some point and have a confession and absolution before you die. I figure everything in between is on my dime and I'll do what I please.

I belong to the Church of God Doesn't Like Brown-nosers ("CGDLB"). Our god is a mature god who is not self-centered and actually gets pissed off when people pray to him; he thinks its a waste of time and degrading. Although I am not a committed CGDLBer, and have some doubts, I'm playing it safe: I'm going to avoid all prayer and religious activities because of the possibility that not doing so will secure me a place in hell.

Personally I worship at "Nossa Senhora das Pernas Abertas" (Our Lady of the Open Legs), 44 Rua Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro.

Amazing! Actually, a little known fact is the CGDLB is related to the Nossa Senhora das Pernas Abertas. Our church actively solicits donations for our church's mongering fund, which in turn is used to support activities consistent with our non-fear-of-god agenda. Some of those activities have taken place at Rua Buenos Aires, 44, or when funds are tight at Rua Buenos Aires, 85.

I feel your god has abanded 85 Rua BA since the elevator has been broken for years and that staircase is clearly the work of a dark power.
The Japanese cunt who works the desk at the Temple of 4x4 is the spawn of satan as well.
