Over the past several years, I have done relatively well in reits, principally MNRTA, MONM (now merged together), CARS (I received 10% per year before they went private and doubled my money) HRP, and a few others.
I find myself ready to sell my condo and move to Mexico, but would like intelligent commentary on REIT stocks.
Thanks.

REIT's have done well over the past few years but with falling prices in some areas and vacancies in many commercial properties, you need to choose your REIT's wisely.
Focus on healthcare REIT's. They are probably the most stable of the bunch.
