DOLLAR FOR DOLLAR,, which countires are still a good deal for Americans who own the very piss poor and continued depriciating dollar? Seems that Central and South America are seemingly getting more and more out of reach these days. ASIA? I wonder if their are some hidden contries in S.A. that are still a good value? Paraguay? Uruguay? Guayana? Anybody wanna chime in please? Regards!!

IMO, very few places these days that have not already been explored, and if there is no extensive write up about a place, gotta wonder (Congo?). I'd be curious if anyone's been to North Africa or the "Stan" countries in Central Asia as I see some cute ladies out of there.
As you know Sobe9ball, even the Colombian peso has gotten stronger ($ has 20%-30% less power than a couple years ago). I'd think in SA, you gotta wait for the next economic meltdown like Argentina had many years ago.
Gotta find places that still use the dollar and has verifiedly ok or decent p4p. Cambodia comes to mind, they still use the Dollar and you can still get $5 ST (less for locals) with cute girls.
Surabaya Indonesia and the boonies; you can still get $8-$10 ST lays w/hotties in Dollys.

Having just been to Kazakhstan, I can tell you that it's not what it used to be with respect to value. Many things in Kazakhstan are dirt cheap, but pussy is not one of them. They are learning about inflation from their Russian cousins. Could not tell you about the other Stans though.....

you can get cheap lays at many places.
7-$10 w/ sgs in colombia
thailand $5 local brothals
cambodia $3-5 local brothals
china $3-5 local brothals
sing $15 geylang w/ some indian gals at early am hours
$10-20 w/ sg in tj
los angeles $30-60 w/ sws
etc...

Well, instead of areas that are cheap and always have been for shit quality - like streetwalkers and shit brothels - two countries in general seem to be priced about the same as always. Mexico and Argentina. Everywhere else has gotten more expensive due to the dollar's decline.
Of course, clip joints like Costa Rica where prices have generally always been in dollars haven't changed except for maybe a bit of inflation.
Places that on have fixed exchange rates or use dollars - like Panama - haven't changed much at all.
Some places are worse than others. Brasil has more than doubled in price in three years due to their currency massively strenghening and some pretty steep inflation in tourist spots.

socrates, excuse my ignorance what is sg, sgs, sws?
By Socrates69 on Monday, May 21, 2007 - 07:48 pm: Edit |
street walkers, street girls. those are the lower end gals you'll typically find in the more dangerous parts of town.
every town has them. go down to skid row, and look under some cardboard tents...you may find some gems (relatively speaking) and proposition them,... just bring one of those hand sanitizer things to clean them up first as they typically smell like they haven't taken a shower in months. also the grime under their finger nails is pretty sickening so better bring nail clippers as well. In that line of thought, mouthwash is essential...but no need to worry about toothbrush, most have lost their teeth from heavy drug use.

The next economic meltdown is the U.S. It's not that other currencies are rising, Bush is printing dollars at a rate that would embarass Jimmy Carter.
When I was in Brazil a few weeks ago I was getting 1.99 Reais per Dollar. And the dollar dropped every day. This means that in about three years time the U.S. Dollar will be the equivalent of the Brazil Reais. A currency that represents a country so corrupt that bribery is endemic and so poor that twenty-five percent of the people live in abject poverty.
So spend your dollars now, all of them, on top shelf girls, before the world realizes they're worthless, and a mongering trip to Philadelphia for street walkers is all you can afford.

Socrates,
Homeless girls make great pickups, because after you're done with them, you can drop them off anywhere.

>>>I'd think in SA, you gotta wait for the next economic meltdown like Argentina had many years ago.
The flaw with that reasoning is that unless something changes significantly (and good luck getting politicians to make unpopular changes), it's just a matter of time before it's the US in economic meltdown. Scoff if you like, but a very sizeable portion of the world would love to see the US implode economically. And the rest wouldn't really care - they have China to sell to now.
By Arellius on Tuesday, May 22, 2007 - 05:19 am: Edit |
Just about every place has gotten more expensive in the last 5 years, some more so than others. It's a combination of the weak dollar, local inflation, and the internet increasing the demand everywhere (which leads to the second item).
Bottomline, the weak dollar sucks for intl travelers, but is good for the U.S economy. I don't think we are at risk for an economic meltdown though. In fact, China is much more at risk for one given all of their problems. They have 800 million people that are still shitting outside for example.
By Furysys on Tuesday, May 22, 2007 - 03:27 pm: Edit |
I'll tell you, as a Canuck, the dollar is wonderful for me. Our currency is up about 60% in three year vs US dollar, far more than the costs of Columbia/Panama etc. Even the US is getting cheap now!!
By Merlin on Tuesday, May 22, 2007 - 03:34 pm: Edit |
Hm, flawed reasoning to assume that a third world SA country will suffer an economic meltdown before the U.S? I'm literally betting with my money that the U.S. won't need an IMF bailout soon, or debt forgiveness by China in the near future. A recession, likely, but an economic meltdown? Perhaps a sizeable portion of the world, many of whom still eager to live here, should be cautious of what they wish for because as the U.S. economy implodes, so goes the rest of the world IMO.

Geesh, thank-god i still some where to go "my cell phone" where I can still go to get TLN with some non-pros for 80k-100k who need money for "libros y escuela" Its just the higher end places that are really becoming expensive. I think what goes around comes around. The weak dollar is promoting all kinds of tourists, from all over the world, esecially Europe and the U.K. who pour in billions to our economy and stengthen it which inturn will stengthen the dollar again, god willing. I just have to hold off on real estate I was planning to purchase but not for long I hope.

Not exactly what I intended to say there. But unless somebody in US gov't develops some fiscal restraint, it's just a matter of time (20,30,40 years?) until we spend ourselves into our own economic meltdown. Admittedly there's probably ample time for a few SA countries to show us how it's done before we follow suit.
As for the original question about which countries are still good value, Pattaya and Angeles City are still my happy places. But if, like me, you enjoy drinking in the bars, the cost goes up considerably.

Do you really think a fuck for 3US$ can be a good one?
Would you really like to have a BBBJ from such a girl living in the dirt?
BTW I never saw a brothel in Thailand with 3-5$ fucks,I dont go to such areas, it might become a lot more expensive if you get robbed or even worse.
Maybe in Cambodia but this is the price for locals,no bj, just in and out and good bye!
The going rate for (white)foreigners is US$ 10 for ST. That makes the girls more happy as they get 5 bucks from that, while getting 1 $ for a local fuck.
I remember an old expression that says:
"There is no free lunch"
By Brazil_Specialist on Wednesday, May 23, 2007 - 05:25 am: Edit |
In Rio the local brothels start at R$ 10, at today's lousy exchange rate of R$ 1.94 to the dollar this is US$ 5.50.
Now R$ 10 places are a bit rough in terms of cleanliness. R$ 15-20 is the starting price for slightly less crummy places. And yes, a few wonderful 19 year olds can be found there, and if you bring your own towel to dry off and beach towel to lie on, you get decent hygiene.
These are NOT street girls and I consider the places very safe.
I would say for R$ 20-50, US$ 10 to 30, you have plenty of choices. Almost no local would ever go past R$ 100, that is US$ 55.
Oh, there are about 50 very clean massage places downtown with 1 hour rates of about R$ 70-120, often R$ 120-140 for TWO girls. Someone help me with the research and I will write a report
By the way, you guys get into local Thai places, nowadays? A decade ago when I tried, I had no chance.

Adding to socrates69's fine list:
Peru chongos us$5+, 20-30 minutes, full service (fs).
Costa Rica casas us$6+, half hr fs.
Argentina prives us$9+, half hr fs.
One of the most beautiful girl I did on my recent 5-countries trip also was one of the least costly, us$10 hr.
By Riodragon on Wednesday, May 23, 2007 - 09:51 am: Edit |
I would rate Peru/Lima as Rio 2003. Banyo y Turcos generally have the ambiance and feel of a car wash. People are nice and friendly, general prices CHEAP, food great, but no beach like Copa.
Taxis amazingly cheap.
Somehow they don't "get" the terma program, but they sure can do the strip club routine to annoying perfection. Mini-HELPS abound.
Recent article in NY Times. The Rio Pan Am game prep is costing up to 10X's estimates and nothing on schedule. Lula is stepping in. So they love to screw each other, not just us. Maybe they will show world TV a true Brasilian experience ! Favelas now have private vigilante patrols.
If a Pan Am tourist/athlete gets killed, that could adjust something.

AND FURTHERMORE, if you still want to go to Rio, there is only one way to go and that is with Brasil Specialist.
The man knows the market and can save you moito dolares, while keeping the quality fabulous.
I stayed with him at New Years and the parade of fresh and hot was continuous and great value.
I lived in RJ a while back and BS knows his stuff or actually stuffees.

Realistically, you get what you pay for. In my town, where a beer costs $7, I am not going to complain if it costs $40 for a couple hours with a beautiful chica.

Write the report BS! With the dollar falling faster than Bob Dole we need it. Any info would be great. I still couldnt imagine a trip to Rio without 4 by 4 on the hitlist though. Instead of an hour I just get the 40 minute room before 4. All of my girls have gone to Europe anyway. A fresh start in September for me. I talk to my favorites, all 8, daily through msn. They all in the past 3 months have made the jump across the pond. Germany being the favorite place to land for some reason.

You can spend some time in the apartments but most of us don't fly 5000 miles to have cheap sex in anonymous office buildings. Termas are a social scene, you get your music, booze, garotas dancing, etc.
I like to hit the incall places on occasion but it's certainly not something you want to spend all of your time in Rio doing.

1.8R to the USD - that's what the Real/$ exchange rate was when I first went to Rio in Feb. 2000. Right now, the US$ is actually stronger vs. the Real than it was back then. Yet 2000 prices were effectively way lower.
The problem is, as Arellius mentioned several posts above, the internet has led to many more mongers going there and pushing up the prices.
And when the exchange rates got ridiculously favorable in 2001-2003, many of us threw around money foolishly, which bid up the prices even more. Unfortunately, the girls/termas won't
re-adjust their prices back down now that the currency has returned to more "normal levels."
