"Event Horizon" wasn't a great film, but it did have some truly disturbing moments which made it a horror movie I'll never forget. I heard about this by recommendation of a female friend who told me this movie was in her opinion the scariest. It's a science fiction/horror film similar in plot to Stanislaw Lem's science-fiction novel "SOLARIS". This is a good rental to get in the Halloween spirit. Yahoo users give it an AVERAGE rating of 3.9/5, an above average score.
