"Jacob's Ladder" has been one of my favorite films. This film came to mind when I was thinking about the scariest and/or most disturbing films I could remember. Yahoo! Movies actually classifies this as a drama, hence its entry here in the Drama section.

In my opinion this movie is a mix of drama, suspense/thriller, and horror. It's a thinking man's movie, some of my friends had to see it more than once or had it explained to them for them to fully understand it. It's not edge of your seat, thrill-per-minute action, so enjoy it as a well-paced film about the hallucinations of a man trying to live a normal life after returning from Vietnam. This is a good rental to get in the Halloween spirit. Yahoo users give it an AVERAGE rating of 4.5/5, an excellent score.
