Interesting program from a British Television station.

The first episode was from Margarita Island in Venezuela. Actually a somewhat decent documentary without the usual slant of forced prostitution, trafficking, abuse, etc.

The called it the Girlfriend Experience but I didn't see too much of that. Most of the ladies had outright disdain for their clients. Seems mostly natural and expected though and probably no worse than ladies in (insert your favorite destination here) say about us.

The one lady (Angelica) they fired mid-show completely deserved it. She didn't want to be there and it obviously showed. The blond with short hair just had been doing it way too long and was hardened. And then there was the sweet newbie girl who was working to support her sick mother and starting to fall for her client, who did not return her feelings.

Ironically enough, before that, the girls are joking about how clients are falling in love with them and how stupid that is to think the girls would return their affection. Seems like the ultimate catch 22 and irony. The woman that falls for the man and he wants nothing to do with her. The man that falls for the prostitute and she wants nothing to do with him.

Also interesting to see what the girls complained about. One complained that she didn't like this one guy with all his dildos and another lady said one guy had warts and his dick looked like corn on the cob.

They definitely played up the typical fat, old sex tourist stereotype. Would have like to have seen more balance in this regard. They showed Fat Bob and old Bob a lot, but not too much of the younger, more in shape guy that Angelica refused to to be with after only an hour and which eventually led to her termination.

They have one on Thailand as well, but I have not been able to download it yet. They have a promo on YouTube, but not the entire episode.

Just watched the Venezuela episode...very cool.

Funny that the guy in the very first scene picked the exact girl I would have picked in the lineup..Natasha.

I think Angelica doesnt belong in the game and made up the story about the guy having warts. She just seemed someone who was likely a bitch even if she was in a real relationship.

Just watched the Pattaya episode dowloaded via btjunkie and it was pretty good but focused primarily on a couple province girls looking for husbands. You always here about Filipinas looking for falang husbands but I guess Thai girls do it as well, its just that they dont speak English. I think the girls with kids are more desperate in finding a falang. That Lek girl was really sweet and not too bad looking either. You can see what happens when there are few customers and lots of Mehkong....cat fight.

Typical of these documentaries to play up the old stereotypes. I'd like to see the same gang do a feature on older white women going to Kenya and be as equally judgemental.
