I think the Giants just got hot at the right time. They were very consistent on the road this year. I don't know if ever a team has one as a Road underdog 4 times. I know wild card teams have won the Super Bowl before but the best I can remember 4 games on the road and as an underdog this is the first time.

Actually the game still went under the total of 147, the 142 was my prediction of total points scored in the game, it was going way under with Kansas's sufficating defense before the overtime.

WEST --- The west is much deeper from top to bottom that the East, sure they are, however, they're is no great or dominate team, possibly the Lakers could be but injuries have taken away they're best big-man, Bynum, who had elavated his game this season.
With no dominate teams, surprises could be in-store, not likely any of these teams could challenge the 2 best teams, Boston or Det in the finals.

no.1 Lakers --- Best team in the west, however, injuries could derail LA. A tad weak in rebounding, they need Bynum back in the worst way and as for now doesn't look so good.

Value is as perceived. One could make this argument:

If Cleveland is the favorite in the game and you get points with them for only 1/2 the game then that is great value.

I'm not so sure about that. Backing Cavs +3 in 2cd half , while up by 13, gives you Cavs -10 on the game, if you didn't like the Cavs to start the game at -2, why would you like them at -10 ?

The NBA is a game of runs, more often than not, teams with double digit leads at half will not hold that half time lead.

In this case they did hold it and build on it, but overall the odds are against it based on history.

The game was like 60-40 betting in favor of Orlando, so it was not a big house decision.

It wasn't a big score for the house, but they got some back, but lost it on Cavs beating Boston.

That's one reason I thought Boston would beat Cavs coz the house was due.

You can make out fairly well by just following whether the public wins or loses and bet accordingly.

The public has done well recently, on Utah game and Cavs, now they're throwing moneny on Lakers over Utah in game 4. I think Utah is the right play, and the public throwing money on LA is a added bonus and with the house being due I'll look to back Utah with strong play.

You got Utah +1....then line started Utah -5 and got bet down to -1 and -1.5.....never saw the line swing to La being favored. Yes the suckers lined up to bet LA today...I didn't bet the game, but you could see that coming.

The line opened -2.5 or -3 and was bet down to pk and +1 at most places I saw including vegas, once it went to +1 LA money came in and pushed it back to -1 or -1.5, where I think it closed.
