What a moron. For $5500, he could have had a gorgeous babe in Thailand for a whole month plus a decent hair replacement job -- which he badly needs.

I bet his wife refused to do anal.

Interesting topic. Here in Panama that price (it was $4300 dude) would get you laid by much better looking girls approximately 52 times. That's about one month's worth of good poon-tang for a guy with my apatite.

I wonder how many of the other clients of this escort joint were big name politicians who are determined to keep the hobby illegal in the States while secretly using and even running whore houses themselves.

Hypocrite!!! Spitzer needs to go to jail so he can get plenty of legal sex in the shower and learn why the hobby needs to be legalized.

tisk tisk now pussyboy, don't be so quick to throw stones. His little spitzer likes the pussy just as much as any of us, and if they took down everyone who used the service we'd be out of police and the government would crash.

He's a scapegoat patsy who pissed someone off. Nothing more.

Spitzer's spanking shows just how weird the US is

Very refreshing report.

Why doesn't anyone else come to their senses? Why nobody in big press in the US mentions that maybe the prostitution laws are due for overhaul.

Who has suffered damages from this case? Spitzer's pocketbook. His wife whose prized slave has escaped her control. Who else suffered damages? What is the problem? The price is too high. Foreign guest workers should get visa to drive the price down. Decriminalization also would get the price down.

In Ciritiba (Brazil) large percentage of girls finance their college studies with hooking. So seems to be the case in France, German. So hooking can help to foster a country's education.

Elimgarak, I am not bugging Eliot for screwing around. Far from it. I attacked him for the hypocrisy of going after other adult businesses. Most politicians who are after this business are screwing around.

Now that his political career is over, he should start a non-profit to turn the laws around. We need political muscle.

Hombre is a start to organize this hobby, but it is not enough. We have plenty of money. Just look at how much you spent in Rio last year. And we can get plenty more from escort services and the like. All we need is a non-profit with lawyers and spokes persons.

OK a committee to promote the rights of mongers everywhere, I vote for the following spokesmen.

1. Charlie Sheen paid over $53,000 on 27 occasions to the prostitutes of Hollywood madam Heidi Fleiss.
2. Bob Buczkowski former football star and NFL first-round draft pick ran a million-dollar prostitution ring out of his parent's Monroeville home.
3. Hugh Grant for the BBBJ club
4. Bill Gates an ex monger who (with his wife!) is pro legalization and registration, unfortunately only in India, but it is a start.
Any other suggestions?

BrazilSpecialist, such a conversation wouldn't get very far in today's America. I listened to quite a bit of radio commentary on this, and to my amazement and dismay the male commentators were as eager to crucify the guy as the women were. Let's face it - America is about as sexually uptight and repressed as any non-muslim nation on earth. I don't see any reason to believe (or even dare hope) that's going to change any time in the foreseeable future.

I am certain that if a national referendum on prostitution laws were taken by secret ballot that prostitution would be legalized and regulated in this country.

We are draped in Puritan Shame and the vast majority of partakers and policy makers (often one and the same as Spitzer demonstrates) and public figures in general do not have the balls to stand up for what they really believe in. We are all too busy maintaining our "respectable reputations" and covering our tracks that lead off the respectable path to speak our minds publicly on this and related issues. That probably applies to many mongers who read the posts here, but perhaps not so many of the posters themselves.

Of course the vast majority of men would vote to legalize prostitution if nobody knows how they vote, and many women would also vote for legalization because they know that it isn't going away and that legalization is the only sane way to protect many prostitutes from pimps and disease. They know it would take it off the streets out of view of their kids, and that they are much less likely to lose a husband or boyfriend to a prostitute then to a mistress. Enough women understand these ideas to vote along with a large majority of men.

We are simply too easily shamed and too spineless in the USA to harness our own great democracy to insist that we get the laws that we want - sane public policy is out of the question in the USA when it comes to personal sexual freedom. Amazing what a bunch of posers we are all these years after the sexual revolution overwhelmed the old tired sexual ethics in actual practice for the majority of American citizens.

Yeah, shame on us!

Legalizing prostitution in the US and all of the EU only makes sense; perhaps something a more liberal administration can look at. In California, you can screw men as a sex therapist with a little training and that is perfectly legal. A girl can come to your home as an "escort," dance erotically in front of you and even grind your croch......all legal. Now what if you get laid there and she ask you to pay her $200 electric bill shortly afterwards? I think that is still legal, no?

We live in a pretty twisted world and it would be great to see girls able to help mongers like us closer to home.

PUSSYBOY - I like your vision! A quest for they young men of the world!

By Elimgarak on Monday, March 17, 2008 - 04:12 pm:  Edit

Problem is, most politicians do not want to be associated with the PUSSY FREEDOM CRUSADE for fear of the public now discovering their game as well.

It really is a catch 22, and fucked up. Most men are doing it (seeking other pussy, however possible, free or otherwise ), but no one wants to fucking talk about it. Look at all us. We only do it anonymously.............Elim Garak? He's a Trek character who is not who he says he is.

So this is the big problem. A few good men are going to have to put their reputations on the line, and stand up for what is clearly natural in the face of what will be a deluge of insult and criticism.

By Elimgarak on Monday, March 17, 2008 - 04:44 pm:  Edit

I've got a few pals I confide in, but quite frankly, you can barely trust anyone about your mongering.

We all have stories similar to this one; my brother in law knows I go to a few places in central america on business quite a bit, and he is an airline pilot., traveling to Rio, Amsterdam.......need I say more. Now when we get together for the family dinners and holidays, eventually we break off together and start chatting about work. It's kind of like I know he's mongering, he knows I'm mongering; I can just tell by the way he looks at me when I tell him about Panama and Columbia, but neither of us ever say anything. The subject is just way too fucking taboo!

This is precisely why I don't think it's going to happen anytime soon.

By Pussyboy on Tuesday, March 18, 2008 - 07:03 pm:  Edit

And now McCartney is paying 50 million for screwing an old gold digger who has a leg missing for 4 years. Prominent men are the most stupid.

This whole taboo thing is about the hatred of men and male sexuality. Women are never exposed to sex trips or gigolos; nor are homos publicly criticized. Why? Because they political muscle.

We have plenty of money and can build political power just as well. The internet has only been around for about a decade. Before it, we had no way to communicate or secretly organize, but we now do have this power. It is only a matter of time before somebody discovers this opportunity that could make a lot of lawyers rich.

PB

By Elimgarak on Wednesday, March 19, 2008 - 06:53 am:  Edit

I fully agree PB. It may sound funny, but for being "normal" men with absolutely normal urges, we are chastised, and the issue is severely overlooked.

Hundreds of years ago is was commonplace for a man, if he could afford it, to have a few wives of differing ages, and a number of concubines. Then the church took over, and normal sexuality had to be pushed underground while the priests got to butt-fuck each other and local town teenage boys. Today things are not too different. We see hoards of men going to church with their families each Sunday, and 80% of them are sexually frustrated trying to take the edge off by masturbating to internet porn at 3am. Many can not afford the luxury of hobbying, keeping a young lover (which requires cash no matter where you live) or soliciting an occasional escort for a decent round. All this shit leads to increased psychological/physiological disease in men................and nothing is being done about it.

If prostitution were legal, the prices would drop so more men could get their grove on and be happier/healthier; dysfunction in families would decrease since men would be generally better parents; there are so many benefits that outweigh any trouble.

The big question is, who is going to be the spokesperson? Who will be the messiah? We would all stand behind him, saying, "well yeah he's got a good point, but I don't care because I would never use a prostitute anyway," since most women we would eventually marry would find the issue disturbing. What a fucking mess eh? I believe it can happen, but someone, or some group of people, will have to get the ball rolling UPFRONT and not hidden behind internet protections.
