My buddy Hemp needed some scripts filled so we went to Clinica Las Vegas and asked for an English Speaking Doctor. After a short wait, a young guy came in, preformed a quick exam and filled out his scripts.

The more we talked to this guy, the more we liked him. As you might imagine, the topic of Paisa girls came up (Hemp is never shy...he he)and this guy jumped right into the fray with a big grin. He gave us his cell phone and encouraged us to call him anytime we needed his assistance.

This proved valuble over the next few days and he came through like a champ.

We decided to invite him to a little Independence Day party we were having. He had planned on bringing 3 of his nurse friends but unfortunately, they had to work late. Anyway, we re-confirmed his willingness to work with gringos who need medical assistance while in Medellin. Not only did he willingly agree to give out his cell number (try that with a US Doc.), encourged anyone to call him 24 hours per day but also said he would make houes/hotel/apartment calls whenever anyone needed him.

I'd say this is a worthwhile name and number to tuck away in your laptop if you are traveling to Medellin. You never know when you might need medical assistance and a known English speaking Doc. could come in very handy.

Those nurse friends of his sound inrteresting as well....LOL. THis guy is not pretentious in the least.
