In Portuguese a 'buraco' is a hole in the road.
You can draw your own conclusions.

"You can draw your own conclusions."
Hmmmm. My conclusion is MM needs to go back to the drawing board.

Gosh, as the guys in Spinal Tap noted, there's a very fine line between clever and stupid, but MM leaped way over it.

Major,
You are so right. I have definitely drawn my own conclusions and it has nothing to do with buraco.

Bluestravelier:
We all have our own thoughts, and I have not drawn a personal conclusion yet.
I just thought the name "baracho" and a similar Brazilian word with a different meaning might bring a few laughs.

So now what all Obama jokes are considered racist and in bad form?
By Catocony on Wednesday, August 06, 2008 - 07:36 pm: Edit
Obama jokes are fine; dumbass comments never are.
By Bwana_dik on Wednesday, August 06, 2008 - 08:04 pm: Edit
KTTS-
The words "racist" and "bad form" were never mentioned except by you. MM's joke was simply lame, as in stupid, and it falls flat by any standard of humor. I tried every which way to find the humor in the joke, but couldn't. Hence, it's just lame. Not racist, not in bad form. Lame.

Who knows where the next president will go? Many things happen between an election and what a new president delivers.
If things go off track with the next administration, then someone will say they fell in a "hole in the road".
If McCain gets elected, he could make a "hole in the road" also.
So again a say, is Mr Obamah a future "buraco" in the road?
I have heard many liken McCain to a "hole" in the road.
Again, I say you can draw your own conclusions. I do not believe that I said any racial item. If I did say something you thought was racial, I think your sensitivity has increased to the point that you belong with the "Political Correctness" police.
So is a "Baraco" the same as a "buraco"? If you are a repulican, you might appreciate the humor. If you are a democrat, you probably don't like this.
For those of you on the "politically correctness" police, I voted both for and against each of the last two presidents at different times. So you cannot classify me as an extremist on either side.
Maybe some have their own "buraco" they need to deal with.
For others, I can appreciate that this could be considered a "lame" joke. However, if you are honest, life is full of "lame" jokes. I also know that I should not give up my day job to be a paid jokester.
Again, think whatever you wish. Life if full of "buracos".

Holes are a wonderful and fantastic thing. Because you can stick your dick in them.
By Laguy on Thursday, August 07, 2008 - 12:18 pm: Edit
Well, I for one would not even think about sticking my dick in MM's hole.
By Catocony on Thursday, August 07, 2008 - 04:49 pm: Edit
MM,
Make any jokes you want. Just don't make them extremely stupid.

BD:
Don't you mean when I am in a "buraco".
