I always find it interesting how only white Europeans are criticized for making generalized or racist statements yet Mexicano's whom refer to black people as gorillas or all Asians as "Chino's" are never criticized. What do you think would happen to a Mexican or Mexican-American girl if she brought home a black guy? I imagine the families tolerance for her choice would be much less than that of your average "white" American.
Another reason why it is important to force new immigrants to assimilate themselves into American culture and English language is that it gives them an understanding of what attitudinal changes must take place in order to fullfill ones privileged obligation of living in the U.S. SUre it is a free country...but those freedom's are worthless without fullifilling some responsibilities. Many whom come from Mexico or other third world countries have learned a survivalist mentality due to the atmosphere in which they live. That survivalist mentality creates a "Machiavelian" thought process in which people will avoid following any rules or structure in order to eat. As a result, those poor immigrants come into an American culture based on rules and carry that same survivalist mentality with them. This can further result in an entire subculture of tax-evaders, fraudulent small business' and criminals breeding criminals. This though process may have been acceptable or tolerated in a third world country but in America it can land you in jail. My point is...if we allow this survivalist mentality to thrive and eat away at American culture, we are in deep shit. That is why those who refuse to adapt to our culture must be given consequences. I rant on...

I think that american culture (if you can even call it culture) is boring and repressed, and altogether too scripted and commercial. Why do you guys think it is even worth "protecting"?

I'm not saying that American culture doesn't need to be changed...but it is the structure which keeps it wealthy...allow an immigrant survivalist mentality to become the norm and you will have chaos.

Rash of Tijuana Cops harassing Americans:

Jim Blasher said he got a citation in Tijuana 2 weeks ago and then when he went to pay the find the Judge doubled it. Mr. Blasher said, I've had a number of incidents with the Tijuana police in the past, usually you can bribe your way out of it for $20 or $30. But the cop said I was driving to fast and I wasn't wearing my saftybelt. He wrote me a citation and I followed him to the police station. Where I waited 3 hours with many other Americans. I had to pay 780 pesos for the Saftybelt violation and 925 pesos for the speeding That was double what a normal Mexican National would have had to pay. The judge told me all fines in Tijuana are double according to State law with regards to non-Mexican nationals. I'm never going to drive in Mexico ever again says Mr. Blasher. If I didn't have the money in cash on me to pay the fines I would have lost my $20,000 car. And who knows how much money and what would be missing if I never got it back. I'm so sick and tired of this nonsense. I was wearing my saftybelt and I wasn't speeding. But the judge just looks at me and said either I pay the fine now or my vehicle will be confiscate and sold.
Mr. Blasher complained to the US embassy and the embassy has had a rash of complaints about Americans being harassed by the Tijuana police. The Register contacted a Mexican Federal official in Tijuana about the law that Non Mexicans Nationals have to pay double and he confirmed that the law is legal and has been around for many years, however, it hasn’t been in forced because every few police would write citations to vehicles. However, now that the city is facing severe financial problems. We are trying to increase our revenues. We asked the officials if he thought the fines were fair, he said he thought they were very fair. Many Americans come to Mexico and they forget that Mexico is a land of Laws. And in the US the citation for a Saftybelt is $300. In Tijuana it's $38, if we don't charge the Americans double then they'll never learn their lesson. Even if our citations are double it's still far less then $300. Mexico is a very poor country, if a Mexican pays $38 for a saftybelt citation. He really learns his lessons. But personally I have my doubts an American will use his Saftbelts even after paying double or $70 for the citation.

I read an article a few months back that was one of the best I've ever read about the Mexican police Psychie. I think it was posted in "Macho Camacho's" Macho Camacho has got to be Mexican. He nailed it on the head.

Mexican official says border deal must include amnesty and work permits for the 4 million undocumented illigal Mexicans.

President Bush deceided to appropriate a $40 billion highway improvement act. Included in the 40 billion is a provision to provide US government assistance for Mexican Trucks that don't meet US safty standards. In Mexico trucks don't have to meet a hight safty standard the way they do in the US. However, in order to meet the NAFTA requirement the US must allow unrestricted Mexican truck access. In the original NAFTA document, the US forgot to state that Mexican trucks need to conform to US safty stardards.
Also, President Vicente Fox wants to Amend the original NAFTA document by demanding all Illigal Mexican persons in the US receive work permits and perment resident status. Mexico estimates that there's at least 4 million illigals living in the US that would benifit from this. Also, in the amendment, Fox wants the US government to foot the bill, that costs $525 to process the papers to get a work permit per person.

Fox says that since the Mexican laborers are greatly responsable for the US's prosperatie for the past 10 years during the US's record enonomic groth. Zero inflation, record budget surplus, etc. That the US should reward the Illigal by letting them stay in the US permenantly.

After thoughts: Mexico spends $200 million annualy to stop the flow of illigals into Mexico from the south. Mexico does NOT grant work permits to anybody for any reason. Unless you are going to open a store or your doing work that a Mexican can't do.
Also, Most Mexicans groups in the US estimate that there's closer to 8 million illigals living in the US. Say there's 6 million x 525 that's $3 billion the US government is going to have to pay to allow the illigals to be ligal.
Also, If I'm not mistaken. If you make under $8,000 a year you don't pay income tax. Is that true? Most illigal farm workers get $5 to $9 a hour. I know this to be true. Because Lucy my girlfriends sister is an illigal getting $7 an hour working under the table, she get the eggs from an egg company in Redlands. If she were legal she's still probubly woun't pay any income tax. But she would be illigble to stay here forever.
Also, because the illigals make a lot of money. I don't see any savings that the farmers would have other then not paying payroll tax. 7.5% to keep inflation down. A health country should have 2 or 3% inflation a year. Not ZERO! There's much more too. But I think the facts show they've done amost nothing to spur our economy. Also, those 5 million central American illigals that live and work in Mexico say the same thing. Were good for Mexico, we help Mexico make money! But Mexico has a much more efficient deportation system then the US. The police in Mexico have the athority to deport illigals. Unlike the US. Also, they can have deportee on a bus headed for the border within 24 hours. In the US the appeals can take up to 5 years. I wish we were as serious as the Mexicans are about our domestic and international laws...

I wish that would happen more often in the US. Why? Because when I lived in Urapan, anything like that was aired on the news over and over in Mexico. It was a good detour for the Mexicans that are thinking of breaking our laws. I tell them that all the Americans hate their asses. Like I said, I'm trying to save their live's. Over 500 died last year crossing the border. I aplause the police in Alabama and wish it would happen more often. I'm sure it happens in Santa Anna too. If only I can get the cops busted in Santa ana too. More front page news in Mexico. With my luck the cops that will get busted will be Mexican/American cops, that won't get any plublisity. The Mexicans are used to other Mexicans screwing them over, that's business as usual. However, we need to frame an 100% American cop. That's going to be hard to do!!!

Vote erects roadblock for Mexican trucks.
TRADE: Sponsors of the House measure doubt it will become law. Republicans say it panders to unions.
In a setback for President Bush and his plans to further open trade with Mexico, the House voted Tuesday to block the Transportation Department from issuing permits that would let Mexican trucks operate throughout the United States.

Mexican congress hinted that if the Mexican truckers arn't permitted unrestricted access to
American hiways that there many be import restrictions on American goods entering Mexico.

I hate our asshole president more then I hate Vicente Fox. But this is GREAT news. The US buy 90% of all Mexican exported goods. The Mexican good entering the US equals 4% of our imported goods. I'd LOVE to see a trade war start! Mexico is like the circus midget kicking the elephent in the leg. Saying, Here I am!!!!

Hispanics find test advantage.

Bryan Chinchilla gets harassed by his African-American classmates. Because he's getting an easy ride into the prestigious University of California while the African-Americans are relegated to community colleges.

"The reality is, the Latinos get to go to better schools than the African-Americans do" At the predominantly Hispanic high school, among the LOWEST achieving in the state, the number of seniors accepted by the ninecampus University of California system soared more than 50% this year. Like Chinchilla, nearly all of these applicants grew up speaking Spanish. Thanks to a change in the university's admissions formula, they improved their prospects by acing a Special Hispanic test. Consequently, although California voters in recent years struck down bilingual educations and rules. The Latino test doesn't help African-Americans, for whom affirmative action was originally intended.

I think it's our civic responsibulity. Although most of you guys think you know me. You don't!
I work with the LA country JC's and Rotory clubs. I help retarted children, handicapped chirlden and adults, I work on housing projects for the homeless, I'm trying to help Riverside Co. to combat Food Coupon fraud. I've help arrest many people too. I go at the speed of sound. I don't even have perminent address. Got so many kids all over the place. But at least I can go bed at night and say. American is that much better because of the hard work I'm doing.
Also, many of you guys know me quite well. I'm getting into politics too. I would apreaciate it if you ever see my face to keep your mouths shut! I'm as clean as Borax. Yes, I've got a million gals that will say. Look it's Westfargo, that Mother Fucker. But most have been deported and the rest don't watch TV or read news papers. I'm stinking of going the rout of the govoner of Minnesota. (Remember his book)

I don't know if I'd make a good politicion. Why? I tell the truth and I tell it like it is.
