There used to be a few copies of it available at Amazon UK but the prices started climbing. Publishers would not even respond to requests to sell me the publishing rights.

Anyway, it was just basic stuff. We have added a whole bunch of local Paisa modismos just to make it more interesting (and avoid copywrite issues)!

I have wanted "Hot Spanish" for a long time. I have heard it is a really good resource. It is on Amazon as Hot!: Spanish for Guys and Girls (Paperback)by David Appell and Paul Balido. The problem is it like $50. There is a site that you can get a pdf of it for $20, but I cant tell if it is exactly the same book. It is at http://www.singletravel.com/hot/spanish/

The contents look the same, but it does not reference the authors. Sandman, do you know if this is the same book?

That is the book. In fact, that is where I got mine, but it was a real copy of the book. 10 years ago it was out of publication, but could be found for $5, I gave away at least 5 copies to my buddies.
I also have a copy of "Hot! International" by the same authors, it includes Portuguese, French, German, Spanish, Italian and Czech. In Rio I used to take it into the boates and have the girls read from it, way too much fun. I ended up trading one of my copies for a program. Kind of stupid in retrospect, given I have seen them go for over $300. I don't even take the copy I still have to Rio, it is probably the best investment I have right now.

That is the TSM site. He had a bunch of copies and I tried to buy some but he was out. Not sure if he ever got any more.
