Tarantino Flicks
I saw the new Trailor for Tarantino's 'KILL BILL'.
I thought it was fucking cool. For those of you who don't dig it, go watch Santa Claus 2 or something.
It's good to see QT makin a movie after sitting home jerkin off for so long(actually he was writing and waiting for Uma Thurman to finish giving birth). He's doing another flick which may also be released next year(Dec.).
Kill Bill(Summer 2003) stars Thurman and is a revenge movie. It is actually very much a martial arts movie. And Tarantino is doing what he loves instead of what the critics will love. Dumb fans like us will hopefully like it too. The fight scenes are choreographed by the Hong Kong dude who did The Matrix, Crouching Tiger and a bunch of early Jacky Chan movies.
The trailor is being shown with Scorsese's Gangs of New York, go check it out.

I knew it... It was only a matter of time before Tarantino and John Woo teamed up for a circle jerk. Or is that some other loser? Oh well, I'm sure Tarantino and Woo will be sucking eachother off very soon.
Hey, I don't like that title too much: "Kill Bill"
MrWho?
So who do YOU like Mr Bill?

Dick, I don't know directors very well - only the ones I don't like ;) But I liked these films: Memento, Strange Day, Laws of Gravity and Freeway. Of course, The Dear Hunter, Apocalypse Now, and Blade Runner are my fav's.

lol, mr bill, no need to call yourself sourpuss. you dont have to be "trendy" to like taratino.. Deer Hunter is one of the best Vietnam war movies ever made, (apocalyse now, and full metal jacket, platoon) and Blade runner is one of the most visually stunning science fiction movies ever made (ridley scott is a fav of mine) i like taratino, kubrik, david lynch, ridley scott.....
mr bill, you may want to check out the DVD band of brothers, a great WWII epic about Easy Company of the famous 101st Airborne Division..

Thanks, Happy. I'll check that out (Band of Brothers). I guess I just prefer emotional violence to physical violence. HAH!

You guys are forgetting PT Anderson, maybe the best of the directors of our time outside of Tarantino.
