I am going to Angeles, Philippines this coming mid-November and would like some suggestions as to what clothing to take. Any help will be appreciated.

Shorts and a t-shirt would seem to be the preferred option for most folks.

Wear baggy shorts. The bar girls prefer it if they can reach up the shorts leg and get a handful of cock.

There is no more informal place on the planet.

I did once see a guy strolling down Fields one afternoon wearing nothing but a bra, panties and high heals. He seemed happy as hell. I guess it was just his thing. The ladies were certainly all quite impressed. Otherwise, he really didn't look out of place.

Shane37,

Unless you are a XXX size - you can always pick up necessities like socks and undershirts / deoderant / toothpaste, etc. at the mall for less than it costs in the USA - so if you want to travel lite - it is very possible.

Truth be told, I brought a Robert Graham exotic linen shirt my last trip (loud expensive bright button down dress shirt) and and was made fun of. The ladies said I was wearing a "Tagallo."

Anyway, informal clothes are perfect - shorts are most popular. I would not walk in sandals like some guys do because of all the potential ways to get a toe cut off.

AC is very laid back....

I am a huge fan of the high tech modern polyester running/golf shirts. No ironing needed, pack very small, cool, and I even go so far as to hand washing in the sink as they dry so quick. Last trip to Subic I hand washed my shorts too and went with sandals so as to have no laundry issues. I probably saved enough to buy 2 San Migel's and a LD. Underwear? Free-ball it baby.

T-shirts, jeans (only when necessary), shorts, and tennis shoes....my uniform!

Bring old, comfortable shoes during the rainy season, cuz they're gonna look old when you leave.

I wasn't very comfortable wearing flipflops. The ground is uneven, puddles everywhere, dirty and you tend to do a lot of walking in crowds where you can get stepped on!

Good advice. Since you'll be there in the rainy season, be prepared. In the dry season flipflops are still a bitch, but sturdy sandals are a must. It gets too hot to wear tennis shoes.

Shane,
I have two words of advice for you my boy...Cargo Pants. I don't care where on God's earth you're mongering, they're the only way to go. Good for deterring pickpockets and let's face it, those wandering bargirl hands reaching for your dick have also been known to go into pockets in search of a few pesos. The multiple pockets are also useful for keeping yourself organized. Velcro or zip pockets are best; the ones with a single snap allow too much access from the side. It can take some looking, but you can find them in light weight material, which is what you need for anywhere in SEA.

Have fun!

Those damn Cargo pants I wear sometimes have so many pockets I forget where I put stuff :-) I always find money in one of the pockets that I placed there to hide it....Hiding it so well, that even I can't find it anymore :-)

Maybe we need a new Federal regulation establishing a limit on the number of pockets a pair of cargo pants is allowed to have??

By Lovingmarvin on Friday, October 16, 2009 - 10:37 am:  Edit

I kinda of like finding money unexpectantly.....

Ironically, I found a 500peso note in a pair of cargo shorts the other day.

Straighten these guys out!

Shit DM

You ruined my keyboard. Coffee everywhere. I have not thought about that jerkoff in a long trime.

He sure knew how to attract the babes di ba ??

Sharp dressed man !!!

Haha DM and KM, I just had a flashback to his sidekick. "I have barfined three Cherry girls out of here, and none of them have fucked me. Damn it, I hope this next one does." Wonder whatever happened to that guy. He was my pick in the "Which Hombe will die at the hands of a pissed off pack of vigilante locals" pool. Ahora, that's the guys name!

Oh yeah AC dress code, the most effective outfit who be buck naked with 100 pesos notes taped all over your body. You could probably stage dive Eddie vedder style of the Atlantis balcony and never hit the floor.

Mx-

You'd hit the floor, but every bill would be picked off you before you did.

Robocop and Ahora...now that was a real pair.

My favorite shorts for mongering is I belive it's called the paramount pant from "the north face".

It's long pants that unzipper into shorts, has very deep front pockets, a zippered pocket to fit my digital camera, 2 side cargo pockets with velcro, 2 back pockets with velcro.

Excellent material for hot weather, much better than my light-wieght docker shorts, very comfy and supple material that bends and forms to your body, but a very sturdy strong material, awesome stuff !!

I like wearing the long pants on the flight as is so comfy.

A little pricy, $65, I don't buy $65 pants very often but these are well worth the price.

Can be had at Dick's Sporting Goods.

Between someone eating what looked like dried monkey dick and Roboflop lecturing me on how Epi, MX, and I aren't dressed correctly if we ever hope to attact the gals of AC ... we sure had our share of laughs!!

Good times indeed. Almost time for me to dust off the SEA Passport.

OP: I wear cotton shorts, with Abercrombie cargo shorts my prime choice, sandals (Adidas or Crocs), and usually a polo shirt or T. It really matters not, just wear what your comfy wearing. The important thing is that you have cash and you give the unit an italian shower between shots on goal.

Kewl Idea...

Oh my goodness, did DM mention wearing Crocs... just say 'No' to those ugly shoes :-)

Just the clothes on your back, a swim suit, underwear, hygiene kit and some good walking shoes. Everything else you need can be bought at SM Clark. Fill your suit case with adult toys and lubes for the ladies, because those items are not easily found in phils. Beware that Cebu Pacific has very low baggage weight limits in case you want to do any island hopping or jump to LOS.
