Who knows which condoms the girls in TJ prefer? I usually have a whole bunch of Trojans with me, but I noticed that some of the girls don't like how they taste. In lieu of a BBBJ (which I of course perfer) I like the chica at least to suck on someting tasty. That way I get a longer and better BJ.
Please post, if you know anything about regular condoms which taste better. On a similar note: Do the chicas prefer lubed or non-lubed condoms? Most of the girls I've been with seem to wipe the condom off before the BJ. Is that because they can't stand the taste of the lubrication?

For covered bj, use a flavored condom, Durex has the best flavored imho as it does not stick to your pubic hair like Trustex does. Flavored bj will always be longer than regular covered bj as lubrication tastes awful to chicas mouth. I have had chicas asking me to bring shit loads of my flavored ones.
For intercourse, I use Kimono but ymmv, but again several chicas have complimented me on my condoms saying it felt better.

I use Lifestyle Ultra sensitive. They feel thinnest but have a good non-breakage rating based on research. Thay are cheap to: $10.70 for 36 at Wal-Mart.
The chicas love the flavored condoms for BJ. I agree: Durex.
The worst condoms are the ones Hotel Coahuila hands out. They are made in India of poor quality rubber and are thick. They feel lousy and break.

To refine Pman's observations.
I've found that Chocolate and Strawberry are the favorites with las chicas. How do I know?? (just for you Redongdo ) I got a good deal on assorted boxes of Durex and Trustex. (two boxes each, four flavors each) Then, when I went down, I'd take one of each flavor with me (in my little condom holder), and give la chica her choice. (they really loved having a choice of flavors)
Anyway, the first pick was almost always Chocolate, or Strawberry.(depends on la chica, and her mood) Grape was a close runner up, with Orange coming next and Vanilla falling dead last. (I think the blue color got to them on this one) A couple of mi amigas told me that they all HATE the mint condoms almost as much as regular lubricated.
Agree with Pman on the Kimono, but there is a new one that is actually better. (can't remember the name. I'll look it up later)

If you are a regular TJ monger, buy on the internet it is much cheaper, I buy over 100 and before you know it it's all gone. I go with www.condomexpress.com.
If you are in an emergency, F Street bookstore sells condoms by the unit.
I agree with StrikeEagle, chicas always ask for chocolate, not sure whether because they like it or because that's the only English word they know.
Personally I prefer strawberry or orange when I kiss the chica afterwards. The mint one is very strong to the taste bud when you kiss chica, but I don't like it either as condom is too thick for bj.

Thanks for all the condom news. I have another question: Do any of you guys do cunnilingus on your whores? I was very luctant at first (afraid of STD's of course), but found myself not able to resist more recently. I try to do it only on girls where I'm the first porker (sorry porker) of the day, or even the only one.
Have you ever used protection? I'm curious about the use of saran wrap or any other means of protection.

For web places to buy:
http://www.condomania.com/
http://www.condomexpress.com/
http://www.condomrevolution.com/
I live close to a CondomRev and the manager gives me the same deal that they used to have on their web page. This way, I get the price advantage of shoping on the web, and the ability to actually shop in person. FWIW
As for that other brand that I spoke of yesterday, it's Beyond Seven. (black package with gold writting) Very thin, very comfortable. And, the female manager of CondomRev pulled on over her hand and half way up her arm without any breakage. So, there's lots of strech to cover as much real estate as needed. I've expreienced zero breakage issues, and have heard of none from the staff at CR. (their clients tend to provide feed back if a product isn't up to standards) One warning on the Beyond Seven. It's becoming VERY popular, so supply may be an issue.
Oh, and, Robertx, to me sharing as much info as possible is what this board is all about. Thanks for the comment.

RobertX - I am in the same delima, but worried I will end up with more than a sore throat. Herpes and HIV can be transmitted this way and there is an old saying 'clap of the yap' we used to use in asia. Gonoreha and NSU can give you one hell of a sore throat.... luckily antibiotics fix that, the others are for life. As much as I am tempted I usually now obstain. As far as the saran wrap or dental dam, its just not the same for me but they do make them specifically for this.

Thank you guys for all the posts, especially P man. Over the last few days I tried the taste test and must say that chocolate condoms are the absolute hit with the chicas. Especially the girls who'd never seen a flavoured condom were really amused and eager to try 'em out. The only major downside is, that they are not safe enough for the fuck and you end up either using a regular condom under the chocolate one, which gives you basically no feeling at all, or you have to switch rubbers between BJ and fucking.
That is why my vote goes to the Durex scented condoms. They have no taste, but since they got rid of the bad latex scent, the chicas are happy and these condoms are safe enough to fuck.
I get them at K-mart for $4.99 for 12 condoms. At www.condomsexpress.com 15 go for $5.40, but I haven't ordered from them.

How much does it help to wear two condoms instead of one? Thanks.
-- extra safe
dear extra safe,
While I am happy that you're trying to be safe, the reality is that two condoms are not better than one. In fact, wearing two condoms is riskier than just using one. Although there was a time when it was recommended, we now know that the friction between the two condoms makes them more likely to break. Actually, if you use a condom correctly, you should have no reason to be concerned. If you do want to be extra cautious, consider combining a condom with spermicide (though spermicidally-lubricated condoms seem to offer little added protection). But using two condoms at once is a bad idea.

Bookie,
I use Lifestyles UltraThin Sensitive Lubricated for regular sex. They are reasonably priced, comfortable and, although I'm fairly large, I've never had a breakage. Because they are pre-lubricated, they aren't a good choice for oral. Wal-Mart sells them.
By Tight_Fit on Wednesday, February 28, 2001 - 09:04 pm: Edit |
Don't ask me why but I split a 100 unit order of Crown condoms with a friend. $14 for my share and these are very decent condoms. I had never heard of the brand before but I am happy with them. Or at least as happy as you can be with having to wear one of these things.
I wasn't impressed by either Beyond Seven or Lifestyles as they weren't lubricated enough for some of the "dry holes" that I run into. They start out OK but seem to "drag" fairly quickly. The fact that I vacilate from being super hyper sensitive sans condoms to being almost dead with one on doesn't help matters any.
It seems that unless the woman is going to come up with some sort of natural lubrication that the best solution is for her to have a good gel to go along with the condom. I would love to know what my favorite AMP uses as it always works and it has a decent taste to boot.

I really like the beyond seven brand condoms (black and gold package) Ever since I've switched to my own brand of condoms, which are the veyond seven or the kimono super thin (second favorite) I have no problems cumming with the third and fourth girl of the night. Sometimes I have to look down and see if the condom is still there. 99% percent of the girls have no problems with using my condoms, and they are cheap if you buy them on the internet. Thanks for all of the advice

Ten Thousand Physicians Call for the Resignation of Director Of Centers for Disease Control & Prevention
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., July 27 /PRNewswire/ --
Today, in his national daily broadcast, Focus on the Family President Dr. James C. Dobson charged the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) with covering up vital information on the ineffectiveness of condoms: "We now know that the CDC has had a scientific report in its possession for over a year which demonstrates convincingly that most sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) are not prevented by condom usage. And yet, the CDC wouldn't release that report until a copy was leaked and the agency was forced to admit that it existed." Dobson, heard by 7.5 million listeners each week, issued an alert to parents all across the country and a plea for action calling the CDC's cover-up a "campaign of deception and misinformation."
Dr. Dobson was joined on today's broadcast by former Congressman and physician Tom Coburn; Dr. Tom Fitch, a practicing pediatrician who served on the panel that produced the CDC report; Dr. David Stevens, Executive Director of the Christian Medical Association; and Dr. Hal Wallis, an OB-GYN physician and Executive Board Member of the Physicians Consortium. Dr. Coburn and other physicians held a press conference in Washington, D.C. this past Tuesday condemning the CDC. More than 10,000 physicians endorsed their statement.
"It is now clear that there is an increasing amount of evidence proving that even those who rely on condoms and use them consistently and correctly are going to eventually wind up with at least one sexually transmitted disease," said Dobson. "Some of those diseases are incurable and even deadly.
"More than 65 million Americans have one form of STD or another," said Dobson. "There are about 45 million people who are infected with herpes alone in this country. Almost 5,000 women die every year from cervical cancer related to the spread of the human papillomavirus (HPV). This is the legacy of the 'safe sex' ideology taught to the nation's adolescents.
"This should make parents angry," said Dobson. "We have been talking about the ineffectiveness of condoms for more than a decade now. 'Safe sex' instruction continues to tell lies to the nation's kids with the support of more than 2 billion dollars from the federal government.
"We have spent billions of dollars promoting a distortion. What have we gotten in return?" asked Dobson. "It has produced numerous epidemics that continue to plague our nation.
"The CDC's purpose is to protect the American people from disease and yet it is working in a counterproductive way on this issue," said Dobson. Focus on the Family has joined with organizations representing over 10,000 physicians to call for the resignation and replacement of Jeffrey Koplan, the Director for Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
By Nevervana on Saturday, July 28, 2001 - 02:50 pm: Edit |
I don't see why they don't just make condoms that cover more than the shaft. They could all but eliminate the spread of herpes for those who use them, as well as for HPV (genital warts) which can cause cervical cancer if you give it to a woman.
Pretty simple solution. Make a better condom that covers more area. They may not be popular, but they could instantly reduce the spread all of this shit in no time, at least to some extent. I know i'd use them in the zona, and probably all the girls there would expect it.
Am i just brilliant or is everyone else just dumb? ;-)

I believe the female condom covers more than the penis shaft itself. The cost was some what prohibitive for daily use. It's unfortunate that there is no absolute provision for preventing any STD except abstinence. It's a human nature to have sex. STD is on the rise; my boddies at the various clinic are seeing more patients getting STD in TJ.
Despite the lack of condor in this site, do not construe that no one is getting STD in TJ.

Comment on lube: Astroglide (which is a decent but not ideal brand) comes in single-use packages. I've bought them at a drug-store, but I don't remember the price. You get a box that's about the size of a 12-box of condoms, and in it are 12 little packets of Astroglide, each one a clearly labelled little mylar pouch like ketchup and mustard come in (sort of). Those dudes who are concerned about lubricated condoms / chicas who are dry / their own sensitivity / etc., could carry a few of these packets with 'em. The idea is you use one packet per session. I find that about a third of a packetful is sufficient, but the baggies aren't resealable, so I (cheap bastard that I am) even invested in some 1-by-3-inch ziplock baggies too, so I could use the same packet for a second squirt later (ahem!). It's only a bit of an issue carrying these things around -- no more than carrying around packets with lubricated condoms inside 'em.
Gotta check out those online condom stores ...

Over-The-Counter Lubricants Fight HIV in Lab Test
SOURCE: AIDS Research and Human Retroviruses 2001;17:997-1002
By Karla Gale Wednesday August 15 5:19 PM ET
NEW YORK (Reuters Health) - Three widely available, inexpensive personal lubricants have been found to block the replication of the human immunodeficiency virus in lab tests. The lubricants killed HIV (news - web sites)-infected white blood cells and HIV in seminal fluid, according to researchers from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.
Dr. Samuel Baron and colleagues conducted the study to examine over-the-counter vaginal preparations for their ability to inhibit HIV production.
While the spermicide nonoxynol-9 has been found in lab tests to fight HIV, it doesn't prevent the virus from spreading, probably because it causes genital irritation, the authors note in the July 20th issue of AIDS (news - web sites) Research and Human Retroviruses. For this reason, the researchers only looked at non-irritating lubricants.
Astroglide vaginal lubricant, ViAmor vaginal moisturizer and Vagisil vaginal moisturizer each inhibited HIV production by more than 1,000-fold when mixed in test tubes with cells contained in semen. When the preparations were mixed with cell-free semen containing the virus, they cut HIV replication eightfold.
Inactivation of the virus began within 5 minutes after the preparations were added, and the lubricants remained active for more than 8 hours at human body temperature. When layered over cells, the lubricants were still able to kill, indicating that their protective activity can diffuse into seminal fluid. The lubricants were still active when diluted in a one-to-four ratio.
Since submission of their report, the investigators have identified two components that are responsible for the inhibitory effects, Baron told Reuters Health. These components appear to interact with the lipid or fatty membrane that surrounds both the virus and the infected cells, he said.
``These materials we have identified are by the most stringent standards safe, falling in the Food and Drug Administration (news - web sites)'s No. 1 safety category,'' Baron noted. ``This separates them out completely from nonoxynol-9.''
He cautions that condoms remain the recommended method for preventing HIV transmission during sexual activity. However, Baron and his colleagues highly recommend that field trials of these agents be conducted among people at risk.

Polyurathane Condoms
Anyone have experience with polyurathane condoms?
They seem to be hard to find these days but my recollection is that they were much better than latex. More sensitivity and thermal transfer. The downside is that I hear they are notorious for breaking. Given that, I don't know if I would use those on "bad" girls, only girlfriends.
I would be interested in learning more from those who have experience in this area. And where can I buy them?

My two favorite condoms for sensitivity are the Beyond 7 condoms and the Durex Extra Sensitive.
Condoms usually only break if they are put on incorrectly or if the pussy is extremely dry. That is why I always carry a little AstroGel with me at all times as well. But any water based lube like KY or AstroGlide will work. Lube greatly reduces the chances of a condom breaking on you.

Last weel I was given eight of the Durex extra sensitive condoms by the San Diego County Health Department. These were free and they acted like they would have given me more of them. I pursume they are safe or the health department would not be giving them out to people, but again maybe it is just a marketing ploy by the manufacturer.

Penis-Numbing Condom Planned
Apr 17, 11:57 am ET
BERLIN (Reuters) - A German company said on Thursday it wants to market a new condom to improve men's sexual performance by numbing the penis to prevent premature ejaculation.
The condom, which would carry thin film of anaesthetic on its inner lining, has yet to win regulatory approval.
"Men tend to get turned on more quickly than women," a spokesman for Cologne-based firm Condomi told Reuters. "Our condom will even up the odds by numbing the man's sensitive regions -- but not the whole body like when you're drunk."

"Beyond7" condoms breaking? You must be joking.
The manager at Condom Revolution showed me the S T R E A C H factor this condom will take. She pulled one out of the package and proceeded to slide the Beyond 7 over all five of her fingers. Then up over her hand. And, finally she pulled the thing all the way up her arm to her elbow. All the while, there was never a tear or break to be seen.
I’ve been using these things for almost three years and have never had a single one fail in any way. In addition to this, the girls seem to really like the scent/flavor. They all seem to think that it’s a strawberry flavored condom.

I’ve been using Paradise Super-Sensitive for a while with great satisfaction. I like them since they seem to fit quite well and provide very good sensitivity. (Hence the name?) The girls like them as they have an mild aroma of strawberry.
They seem to have the same quality control level as the Beyond 7s I’ve also been using.
Just thought I’d pass along the tip. (no pun intended)

It was with some amusement, when shopping for condoms last year, that I noticed the local drug store actually carried condoms in sizes: Large and Extra Large. Sheesh!

SE,
Condomrevolution seems to be out of business. BTW, Crown Skinless and Beyond 7 are both made by Okamoto. Both are favorites of many here.

Feds downplay condom efficacy
From www.consumerreports.org
The online fact sheet on condoms by the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, at www.cdc.gov, used to begin with this statement: “Condoms are effective in preventing HIV and other STDs.” The fact sheet was removed from the site in 2002 and was later replaced with one that states, “The surest way to avoid transmission of sexually transmitted diseases is to abstain from sexual intercourse ...” or be in a long-term monogamous relationship with someone whom you know is not infected.
The new fact sheet also omits descriptions of the various condom types, information on which lubricants are safe to use with latex, instructions for how to properly use a condom, and references to anal and oral sex, for which public-health groups recommend condoms. A CDC spokesperson said the new fact sheet is more science-based than its predecessor and is meant for health professionals, but critics, including experts on reproductive health, charge that it puts ideology before science and encourages distrust of condoms.

Has anyone used both Kimono Micro-thins and Beyond 7 condoms? If so, which do you prefer and why?
I have been using Kimono micro-thins for a while, but am looking for something that is even thinner with even more sensitivity. Have heard good things about Beyond 7, but they are pricy. Should I switch to Beyond 7 or stick with the micro-thins? Thanks.

I hate kimonos as they cut off circulation-- in fact one of the worst I've ever used.

I bought the Beyond 7 for my Rio trip. I had broken a couple of other condoms in the past (not a size issue, damn it) and was a little worried about using the Beyond 7 because they are so thin. So this is kind of a back handed endorsement, but the only thing that bothered me was I had to keep stopping and checking to make sure the condom was still on. It really felt like I had no condom on. I think I went through over 50 without any problems and I hit it pretty hard (for an old guy). Hope this helps. AZ

I like Beyond Sevens better than Kimonos, but also like Crowns, perhaps a bit more than Beyond Sevens.

I just ordered another 200 of the Okamoto condoms. I believe I ordered Crowns this time and Beyond 7's last time. The Beyond 7's were incredible.

Sagami polyurethane condoms are the closest thing to bareback I have ever found. Come in " large" size for non japanese. Only 0.02 mm thick and the polyurethane feels so much better than latex. I have to check to see if they are still on. Very reliable japanese site with FREE fast shipping.

I have been using Trojan Supra Polyurethane condoms recently, but had one girl in Thailand recently tell me she wanted me to change because it felt too "hard" (the condom, not my dick, LOL). I get the impression latex is more pliant or somehow softer and that might have been the problem. OTOH, I have used them many times with others, and didn't receive complaints.
Anyone else get similar reactions to polyurethane?

I switched to polyisoprene condoms last fall. LifeStyles 'SKYN' is not too bad. Sensation and feel seems better than latex to me. WalMart sells them now at around $6 for 12. Also seen at CVS. Certainly worth a try at that price.

The Sagami brand are soft just like latex but so much better. Have not tried the Trojan brand but condoms are one area where the japanese have always been light years ahead of us in technology.

Japanese condoms are really small. Komonos are like putting a tourniquet on your johnson. lol. I like pleasure plus. Great condom. I will try skyn this trip.

The Sagami polyurethane condoms, ".02", are now on sale in stores in Indonesia. Circle K carries them, and many of the little beauty shop/drug store places in the basement of Manga Dua Square next to Carrefour are stocking them as well, including the L sized versions. One store, "Diva", is selling boxes of 12 for 188,000 rupiah. Others are selling them for 200,000 or 210,000.
