Never caught an STD from a working girl on either side of the border... Have had a few non-specific STD's (actually about 3 or 4 times from same # of partners) all from USA women I was involved with.

Quite a shock to them that they were carrying an STD as they were not very sexually active (according to them) but apparently had an STD that doesn't have visible symptoms in females but burns the urethra in men something fierce...;o)

Well, my buddy works at the clinic in East Los Angeles. Three weeks ago, he saw approximately 15 patients who got STD in TJ. 7 of them got crabs, 4 of them got chlamydia, 2 had syphillis, 2 of them got combination of herpes and some other bacterial infection. Whether they saw SG or bar chicas, it's not documented. If 15 patients at the clinic got STD in TJ each week, the grand total number of people who got STD in TJ per year must be very high. It would be interesting, if we can tally the number of people who gets STD from TJ hookers each year.

They used the condoms, so their penis was protected. Their infection was mainly notable in the inguinal area except one patient with herpes. His infection has spread to his penis from the base. The herpes was symptomatic for two weeks before the patient saw my buddy. They all tested for HIV. They were all negative.

On the note, the patient with the herpes saw three hookers in TJ while his herpes was symptomatic. There is a good chance he gave it to these three hookers, but we will never know.

Amazing about the crabs... I've done dozens of SG's and have probably been in every filthy sway backed bed at most of the SG hotels multiple times and never caught crabs...

As for herpes, I beleive the statisical estimates are that a lot more of the population has it already than doesn't. Not everyone has outbreaks though or they may just have one or 2 then it goes dromant for years...

Chicken pox is a form of herpes, in the same family. Show of hands? hehe Better not diddle a chica with poc scars, hehe...

Must just be karma.. I average a bar chica about once every 2 years but do SG's on average of 3 weekly...

I always use my own condoms except for a favorita which I do sin condon... I think that one factor is I never choose a fuck if I'm too drunk, and almost always do day chicas so as to see them in the daylight..

I'm truly amazed that the beds in the SG hotels are not invested with crabs, scabies & worse if there is worse, hehe

I did some research on Yahoo, here are the results:
Ratio of carriers in US female population: Chlamydia 1 in 50, Gonorrhea 1 in 130, HIV 1/100, Syphillis 1/10,000, Hepatitis B 1/5,000, Herpes 1 (the mouth herpes) is in 85% of the population, Herpes 2 (the vaginal herpes)in 25% of the population.
1) Chlamydia rarely affects men and if so is treatable with antibiotics. Can affect the testes and cause infertility.
2) Gonorrhea is major threat to men, but still easily treated with antibiotics.
3) HIV we all know a lot about. Most risky sex is anal sin ropas, than vaginal sin ropas, oral etc. Receiving head sin ropas has very little chance to transmit HIV to the receiving party, in contrast to the high risk for the giving party.
4) Syphillis also major threat, but beside GO can lead to late stages of dementia.
5) Hepatitis: there are at least 4 forms of hepatitis. The major STD is the "B" form. One can get immunized against it, although I don't know how well it pervents the disease and if an HMO will cover it to prevent during mongering. The "A" form is milder and can be transmitted through food, water and feces. (So watch out where your tongue goes :-) ) The "C" form is very nasty, but mostly gets transmitted through IV drugs and very rarely through sex.
6) Herpes comes in two forms. #1 is oral and 85% have it inside, it lives inside you and is a lifelong problem, but often only comes durind stress etc. The #2 form is in the vagina and about 25% have it. Both are so common that they barely count as disease.

Below I made up an estimate, which is not based on any science, but simply my observations during my time in the ZN and the vague research on Yahoo: how likely a transmission of an STD in TJ is depends on many variables and assuming that mx chicas carry about the some disease as US women, I come to the following calculation:
1/50 to 1/100 of the women carry some disease. A chica is not an average women and clearly has higher risk. So maybe 1 in 20 have an STD. I estimate that the average AB chica has sex with about 500 different men and 1,000 - 1,500 sexual encounter during one year. The risk to transmit a disease depends on the sexual practice and the disease. I assume that one in 20 encounter of that women is unprotected, especially repeated customers are more likely to receive unprotected sex. She will have 50 - 100 unprotected fucks and during each the transmission may be 1 in 3 to give GO, 1 in 10 for Syphillis, 1 in 200 for HIV to her customer.

The average customer will fuck about 5 whores during one year. Each time he has unprotected sex his chances are 1 in 50 to find a girl with disease.
Given that about 300 whores work AB at any given time your chance are that at least 6 to 15 have the clap, 3 are HIV positive etc.

I understand that most of the girls are tested monthly, and I don't know any AB chica who is not getting tested, but SG and other clubs may be much less reliable.

I have been going to tj for thirty years and have never gotten a STD. I say that knocking on wood because I said that about getting arrested and being mugged and within weeks both of those things happened. I know there is risk, but I think it is low in TJ using condoms. I go weekly and have sex 50 to 70 times a year. I do club girls about 70 percent of the time and street and parlor girls the rest of the time. I read about a study that tested 400 whores in TJ and the results were lower rates of desease than the average young girl in San Diego. There was one HIV positive found out of the sample in TJ. That is one too many, but I think the situation is you have less of a chance having protected sex in TJ than having unprotected sex in the United States. I question the reports about getting desease in TJ. It always seems to be second hand information. It is rare someone reports about desease here. If so, it has been about crabs. I know if I ever get something in TJ I will report it first hand and hope others will to. I think the risk is more driving down to TJ than getting a desease using condoms.

Daytimer and the likes are very fortunate. I am simply assuming mongers do it knowing the risks. Sorry to hear you have caught it. Once you get infected with virus, it will stay with you til you die. So I hope you can learn to live with it. I hope you can give out the names of girls gave STD to any mongers or vice versa. I just can not emphasize enough that the condom is just not a perfect protection. Better to have condoms, but don't put blind faith on the rubber. Just to let you guys know just because there is no symptom of HPV or herpes, it doesn't mean you don't have been infected.

Neverana - I don't claim to be an expert on herpes but... My understanding is that it can lay dormant for months or years and then suddenly something sets it off.

What can set if off varies but can include diet, sexual activity, stress or even shaving the genital area (any irritation)...

Just a thought before you ID the chica that you feel gave you the herpes... My guess is that 2/3 of the chicas have genital herpes in TJ after having worked there 6 months to a year... A lot of mongers most likely have it but haven't had significant outbreaks to realize it yet...

I have always been paranoid about getting STDs. I have been mongering for years and never caught anything. Condoms are a must with me, and I usually only get BJs, so the risk of STD is virlually non-existent.

Some of the comments I read in here astound me. I read about how some guys get bare-back BJs and even FS. It's like gambling; you are going to crap out sooner or later. Street girls or bar girls, it makes no difference. Washing up after sex means nothing. I even read where a guy wants to see the girl in the light before he goes with her to reduce the risk of STD. Just because she looks clean and and doesn't oozing sores, doesn't means she's not loaded with STD. And the guy that said he only goes with his favorita bare back, she ain't immune either.

I think you have been very lucky, Specific. While it is harder to catch STDs from oral sex, there are many STDs that can be passed this way. You can get herpes if the girl has it and has a lesion in her mouth, which is common. Syphilis can also be caught from BBBJ. Even if the odds are 1:1000, do you want to take the risk? I know I don't. If anyone has any actuate medical info on this, please post.
