Saw this on the AIM site. Thought it might be useful. Here's the link and an excerpt below.
Obviously this doesn't work for viral STD's.

Now about that STD medication. I'm not sure detox is the most accurate word to use. However, there is a protocol which, if entering a high risk behavior can "clean out the system" a good z-pack (azythromax) will usually do the trick, but it isn't a great medication for gonnoreah.
Levaquin and azythromax will usually kill any STD floating around in your system. MEDICATIONS ARE NOTHING TO EXPERIMENT WITH. You must first consult a physician before taking anything, besides STD tests are free at AIM and any county health facility in the US. So , get tested if you are in doubt before taking costly meds which may have side effects. Thank you for letting me be of service.

Ixtoc That's the combo of antibiotics I use when going from pros to honeys i.e. transitioning from barebacking in AC to barebacking Da on my recent trip. Would not do to give her a present. I use Avelox instead of Levaquin but they are very similar meds. Will do nothing for herpes , HIV , or any other virus as you correctly point out, but then " Life is a risk". If you do a quick inspection before diving in you can lower( not eliminate ) your risk of viruses-- except ole HIV of course.
Better than Z pack is 500mg of Zithromax for 3 days with 500mg of Levaquin or Avelox for 4 days

There's also a 1 gm single dose Zithromax that works for Chlamydia and nongonococcal urethritis. Mix it up in water and swallow it down and your'e done.

It might also be worth doing a Scabies & pubic lice treatment.
Permethrin 5% on your entire body, and locking all your old clothes away for a week so any critters that might be on them would die

Works every time in the PI.
Guys, yeah we all say we wear them but when it comes down to it .... we don't always wear the raincoat. I have found a single dose of antibiotic that is self injected(yeah self injected) and available over the counter in the PI. It's called Rociphen and you will need a 10mg sirenge. Only takes 1 gram One shot in the ole bum will give you about 3 days protection. You can also go to WebMd and check out the list of meds reccomended there. As we all know, no HIV or Viral Herpes protection but it keeps the other critters out of the system. I am not a doctor and you try at your own risk. Works for me. Convenient with no apparent discomfort except the sore butt.

What is "singha?" Sounds like something you get in Asia? Do you know of an equivalent name?

Singha is a Thai beer.
I suffer from perioral dermatitis. Not a STD but similar to a mild type of acne causing reddening and spots around the mouth. Essentially I am on the following medications for life. The two antibiotics I use are
Tetralysal : Lymecycline, part of the tetracycline class. One 408mg tablet a day.
On my last check-up I expressed concern that while I’ve never had an STD with visible symptoms I might have Chlamydia. The doctor laughed and said he doubted it given that this antibiotic is the prescribed treatment for Chlamydia.
The main side effect is that in some people (me included) it leads to photo sensitivity. That means it’s very easy to get sunburn as opposed to a refusal to look at MasterBates photo submissions on CH.
Erythromycin : When I go to Brazil I switch to this to avoid getting sunburnt. 2 or 3 250mg tablets per day are usually enough. This is used in the treatment of syphilis and gonorrhea although it isn’t the drug of choice.
Main side effect is that it can cause slight stomach upset and makes you a little more regular. Not a bad thing when eating lots of meat in Brazil.
The two drugs would make an STD infection less likely for me at least. The info may be of use to some here as both can be easily obtained in Brasil.
