I am very ex[erienced with polyurethane condoms. I've been using it on the same girl for a full year and I've only had it break once out of a couple hundred sessions with them, and this was because we had no lube. Never spit on your cock for lube, it doesn't last very long and some chicks, especially hookers, get mad. Anyway, you can find polyurethane condoms in any Rite-Aid Pharmacy. My favorite is Trojan Supras. I initially started with Durex Avanti's until i found out that those are weaker than Supras. All condoms, no matter what they are made of, all break in the same manner. They only break due to lack of sufficient lubrication. Every condom has pores and the pores on polyurethane condoms happen to be smaller than the ones of latex condoms. This means polyurethane condoms are probably more reliable in a sense that viruses will have a more difficult time penetrating through small pores. (But even latex is EXTREMELY safe) My point is that polyurethane rubbers facilitate convective heat transfer better than latex condoms. This is due to a higher thermal conductivity. They feel really good compared with latex. I can't bust a nut with latex sometimes. It's really frustrating. But I always bust a fat nut with a Trojan Supra! Also, polyurethane makes you feel more emotionally in touch with the female. (This is based on my experience however.) It almost feels like no condom at all. If I can say that latex makes me come 50% percent of the time, polyurethane can make me come 95% of the time. The cheapest price i saw for Trojan Supra's was $4.99 for a pack of three, however, a pack of 3 could be up to $6.99. A little on the pricy side, but well worth it. Purchase a pack and enjoy the sliding action!

U used it for a full year, pretty impressive. WHat do you use to clean the condom between sessions. And does it have to dry, or can you use it again right away?

Inquiring minds want to know: What did you use to repair it after it broke?
By Dave33 on Sunday, August 08, 2004 - 09:39 am: Edit |
i don't get your questions. are ya being expressfully cynical for the hell of it or do you really mean those questions? I typed that article really fast so it is prone to grammatical misconceptions. I didn't use the SAME polyurethane condom for a year. I've been using the same BRAND for a year and they have only broke once outta lets say 350 times.

You guys are being waaay too expressfully cynical simply because Dave33 doesn't posolutely informable you very clearly. Lighten up.

Dave -- don't be so thin skinned . Everyone's a cynic on this site. You just gave them a huge target. Do not take it personally.
I never tried Trojan's product but did try Avanti once. I did not like the crackling sound and feeling it had-- gave me the creeps. Is trojan the same texture ??
BTW--- the poly condoms have NOT been tested in terms of prevention of aids or STDs just pregnancy. They are likely effective in the former , but the latest literature I saw still had no proof.

Dave 33:
Don't take it personally. It is well know that GCL has no inter-personal skills, which is why even after digesting all the information on this board he finds it impossible to get laid. If you don't believe me, ask Don Gringo, his sworn enemy.

Dave, can you use petroleum based lubes with these condoms?
By Khun_mor on Sunday, August 08, 2004 - 11:48 pm: Edit |
Wombat
You can use used engine oil if you want. They do not break down chemically since they are plastic not a natural product like latex. I did not like the feel of Avanti. Have not heard what the Trojan product is like.
Dave --If you're not permanently traumatized by GCL, what is your opinion of Trojan vs Avanti ?? Same crinkly feel ??

Dave, sorry if you took it wrong and no harm intended. It was just kinda funny and I couldn't resist pulling your chain a little. Feel free to zap me sometime when I make one of my frequent typo mistakes.....
(OK...here comes the chain pulling part) I am impressed that you got laid 350 times in one year though. (Thats almost $600 in condoms @$4.99 for a 3 pack) And, this was always with the same girl? Say she averages 4 day per month having her period or 48 days per year; that would make 33 times you had sex with her during her period!!!! You da man! But, one might ask oneself; If I am having sex with one woman 350 times per year, why do I need to spend all that money on condoms? Get her on the pill and BAREBACK HER! (OK, end of chain pulling!)
P.S. I too like the Polys.....seriously!

In Cambodia the NGO's are actually teaching the brothel girls to reuse polyurethane female condoms. Since they are to expensive for the ladies to afford and Cambodian latex condoms are intolerable.
Important research is being done.
From scientific studies............
"Studies have found that the device remains structurally sound after repeated washing and reuse. In a study by FHI, the structural integrity of the female condom remained well above the standards of the female condom manufacturer, after a single act of intercourse or after up to 10 washes with or without bleach disinfection. Four laboratory tests compared the test condoms with new female condoms (seam tensile strength, water leakage, air burst and tear propagation). More than 300 condoms were washed after a single act of vaginal intercourse, and about 1,000 unused female condoms were washed in the laboratory. The washing procedure used mild soap in warm water and rinsing, followed by pat-drying of both sides of the condom with a towel.........."
OK.... Now first off, I have to say that researcher is a better man than I if it is true when they say "300 condoms were washed after a single act of vaginal intercourse" I'm thinking I could dirty 4 condoms tops in a single act of sexual intercourse.
Secondly, if you are ever in a brothel in someplace like Cambodia and the ladies offer to supply a polyurethane female condom. I recommend you pass on it.

I buy my trojan supras from www.hocks.com They are $4.37 for a 6 pack. They also sell at Walmart. These things are great. When I first started using them, I would always have to keep checking to see if it broke (because it felt too good for a condom). Guys if you've never tried them you are missing out. The girls like the feel better too.

Breakage problem: I got a few polyurethane condoms recently. Both Trojans and Avanti.
The first I tried was a Trojan. It felt absolutely great. More sensitive. But it broke, the very first polyurethane condom. I did nothing exotic.
Now I have been using Crown extra thin for years with not a single breakage. I know how to be careful. I use lube in exaggerated amounts. I was very very worried. Did not dare to use them again.

By the way, the chicks in TJ (Adelita Bar) love these condoms. I remember one whore (that gave me a horrible session) asked if we could trade condoms. I said FAWK NO, took off and left the door open.
