Damn-- weight has been coming off at a remarkable clip the last couple days (nearly 1-1.5 pnds/d). Woke up today and the grand total for phase 1 (14d) is I lost 12.5 pounds.
I will begin phase 2 by adding some fruits and a slice of whole wheat bread to the ole diet.
On the downside, I noticed my morning energy levels are slightly lowered, nothing serious, but still evident.

whole grain bread, not whole wheat bread!! There is a difference.
